Mystery of the last emperor Puyi's burial place
According to the custom of feudal countries, after the new emperor ascended the throne, he would choose the "land of Yongfu" to build a mausoleum. Xuan Tong Emperor Puyi acceded to the throne at the age of 3. Only three years later, the Qing Dynasty was destroyed, and he didn't have time to choose "a land of eternal happiness".
After Puyi abdicated, he still lived in the Forbidden City under the preferential conditions of the Qing Dynasty, and the title of emperor remained unchanged. The Republic of China is courteous to foreign monarchs and provides four million and two thousand silver to the royal family every year. In this way, Puyi continued to be lonely in front of the "emperor" of this small court.
19 15 years, when Puyi 10 years old, the emperor decided to choose "a land of eternal happiness" for Puyi. Li Qing, the capital of Lianzhou, Guangdong, is proficient in Feng Shui. Li Qing and others traveled all over the mountains and rivers of Xiling, Yixian County, Hebei Province. After investigation and calculation, they think that the north of Wanglong Village in Taidongling is a good place for good luck. The tomb cave is located on the hillside in the northwest, far from chongling. After discussion and on-the-spot verification, the Qing court thought it was optional and immediately closed the place. According to Xu Guangyuan's "Exploring the Wonders of the Imperial Mausoleum in Qing Dynasty", at that time, Puyi's small court did not have its own financial resources, not to mention the unstable situation and its own difficulties. Therefore, although the location of the mausoleum has been selected, it has not been able to start construction. There is another saying, which comes from Chen Baorong's Vision of the Qing Xiling Mausoleum: After Puyi entered the unification, it was convenient to choose "a blessed land" in the north of Wanglong Village, which is close to chongling. Xuantong broke ground in two years, using the method of underground first, above ground later and from back to front. After more than a year's construction, the foundation works such as the foundation stone laying for slotting in the underground palace and the treasure city of the Ming building have been completed. The Revolution of 1911 broke out and the Qing Dynasty perished. At this point, the Xuan Tong Mausoleum project was forced to stop and never resumed. All kinds of statements, right and wrong, need textual research.
1967 65438+1October 17. Puyi died of kidney cancer in Beijing at the age of 6 1 year, and her body was cremated on June+1October19, 65438. As for how to dispose of the ashes, Premier Zhou Enlai gave clear instructions at that time: First, it can be decided by the family of Aisinggioro; Second, family members can choose to bury or store their ashes anywhere in cemeteries such as Revolutionary Cemetery and Wan 'an Cemetery. On the 20th, the family members got together to discuss, and the family members unanimously agreed to store Puyi's ashes in Babaoshan People's Crematorium.
Pu Jie, Puyi's younger brother, said that Premier Zhou and other leaders were "very concerned about Puyi's funeral and once said to me, Do you want to build a beautiful mausoleum? As a citizen, I explicitly refused. "
On the afternoon of May 29th, the memorial service of Puyi, Wang and Liao Yaoxiang was held in the auditorium. After the meeting, according to the instructions of the Central Committee, Puyi's urn was moved to the first room of Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery.
From 65438 to 0994, Mr. Zhang Shiyi, who lived abroad, built the Hualong Royal Cemetery in the northwest of chongling, yi county. In order to improve the popularity of the cemetery, Zhang Shiyi persuaded Li to bury Puyi's ashes in Xiling through unremitting efforts.
1The groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 26th. 1995. Li took the urn to the grave and put it on the platform covered with yellow satin. After the simple ceremony, the cemetery staff put the urn in the cement "country". Face south and back north, cover with "Guo" cover, and finally pour concrete. The ashes of the last emperor in China feudal society were buried in this way. 19 15 The "Land of the Millennium" selected by the Qing royal family finally came to an end.
