Manhattan fengshui

The geographical patterns of Wuhan and Chongqing are very similar. The Yangtze River runs through the city centers of these two cities. More similarly, the two cities are located at the intersection of two rivers. Wuhan is divided into three parts by the Yangtze River and Hanjiang River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, and Chongqing is also divided into three parts by the Yangtze River and Jialing River. The two intersections in Chongqing are the famous Chaotianmen Gate. In contrast, Chaotianmen in Chongqing is a household name, but Nan 'ankou in Wuhan is little known. Why? Nan 'anzui is a very important place in China, known as the first corner of China.

Nan 'anzui is the place where China Dantian is located, which means that China's economy is the most concentrated. Nan 'an Mouth extends from the foot of Guishan Mountain and connects with Hankou through Qinchuan Bridge, which is the heart of Wuhan. It stands to reason that a place like downtown should develop into a city card like Shanghai Pudong. But in reality, Nan 'anzui is a park green space without large buildings, and it is the only undeveloped land in the bustling downtown area of Wuhan. Here, willow trees are shaded in spring and maple leaves are like fire in autumn, which complement each other with Guishan TV Tower, Qingchuan Hotel and Qinchuan Bridge, forming a beautiful picture. In fact, it is not that Wuhan has never thought about developing Nan 'an Mouth. In 2000, Wuhan made a major decision to relocate thousands of households in Nan 'an Mouth, preparing to build Nan 'an Mouth into a world-class international scenic spot, but it has not been realized until now.

Chaotianmen is one of the top ten cultural symbols in Chongqing and one of the ancient gates of 17 before Chongqing. In the Southern Song Dynasty, an imperial edict came from the Yangtze River through the city gate, hence the name Chaotianmen. Chaotianmen is the largest water transport terminal in Chongqing, and it has been a bustling place since ancient times. With the development of the western region, the landmark buildings in Chaotianmen and its vicinity are colorful, and the area centered on Chaotianmen is undergoing gorgeous changes. As early as 2008, the transformation plan of Chaotianmen was formally implemented. The estimated budget has reached/kloc-0.00 billion yuan, and Chaotianmen will be built into the central business district of Yuzhong District. With the construction of raffles city, the skyline of Chaotianmen has risen to a new height, and the quality of the city has been further improved.

Some people say that Chaotianmen is the starting point of Chongqing's development. Since ancient times, Chongqing's bustling downtown area has been known as a mountain city, and there is not much land available for development. Therefore, a geomantic treasure-house like Chaotianmen has naturally become the focus of Chongqing's development. Wuhan is located in the east of Jianghan Plain. Besides rivers and lakes, there are plenty of flat land for development, so the development of Nan 'anzui is not so urgent. Local people also have different views on the development here. Some people hope to develop it into a city card like Chaotianmen or Pudong in Shanghai. Others hope to keep an ecological green space similar to Manhattan Central Park in the bustling downtown. After busy work, they can enjoy the same visual experience as the suburbs without going far away. Others hope to develop the south exit. However, we have not found a very satisfactory planning scheme, and would rather have nothing than maintain the status quo. With the slowdown of large-scale urban development, until now, there is no official specific plan for the development of Nan 'anzui, and the image of China in the future is still vague. If it is developed and built in the future, it will be the focus of attention of all Wuhan people. It remains to be seen whether it will become a city landmark like Chaotianmen in the future or continue to build a scarce central park.
