The difference between summer heat, summer dampness and yin-shu

The difference between summer heat, summer dampness and yin-shu:

Shu heat refers to the hot climate in midsummer. For example: The heat is unbearable.

Summer-dampness is an acute exogenous fever disease caused by summer-dampness evil. It often occurs in the summer season, when both heat and humidity are strong, especially in the south.

It is characterized by an acute onset of symptoms such as body heat, head and body ailments, light sweating, thirst, and epigastrium due to heat-dampness and stagnation of the body surface.

Yinshu means that due to the hot climate in summer, people blow the wind to enjoy the coolness, or drink too much cold, which leads to internal deficiency of Qi, so that the evils of summer heat and wind-cold take advantage of the deficiency to invade and cause disease. It is obtained because of the tranquility, hence the name "Yinshu". The main symptoms include fever, aversion to cold, no sweat, body pain, mental fatigue, pale tongue, thin yellow coating, stringy and thin pulse, etc.

Note:

Drink more water, porridge, vegetable soup, fruits, etc., eat more foods that clear away heat, promote fluid production, and nourish yin, and avoid or eat less spicy food , hot, greasy food, and less alcohol. In addition, the gastrointestinal tract is very sensitive to the stimulation of cold, and the sudden high and low temperatures are most likely to cause gastrointestinal discomfort. Therefore, I would like to remind you that when the weather turns from hot to cold, you should pay special attention to keeping your stomach warm, and avoid eating too much raw and cold food in your diet to avoid causing stomach pain.
