Why is the square of Xintianfu Square built like this?

How did the design concept of Tianfu Square come into being? According to relevant sources, historically, Chengdu is an ancient capital with a history of 5,000 years. Since its establishment, the site of the city has remained unchanged for three thousand years, and the name of the city has remained unchanged for more than two thousand years. There is no city in China like Chengdu. Geographically, Chengdu is also the capital of the upper reaches, not only the central city of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, but also the upper reaches of the two cultural dragons of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. As far as urban character is concerned, Chengdu is also a good city. Chengdu is an inclusive, innovative and harmonious city. Ancient Shu ancestors were looking for a harmonious relationship between man and water from the beginning, which was born of water, governed by water and prospered by water. Therefore, the designer boldly launched the theme of Tianfu Square, "Land of Abundance, Capital of Goodness".

After the theme was confirmed, the logo of Tianfu Square was released: smooth lines, like a phoenix bird spreading its wings and flying. From left to right, the lower part of the sign looks like a "Sichuan" and from right to left looks like a "water". The main part looks like a part of the word "Shu", which is a symbol of Chengdu as a land of plenty. In addition, the whole design is like a word "Shang", which means that Chengdu is the capital of goodness.
