What line city is Wuxi?

Wuxi is a second-tier city.

Wuxi, referred to as Wuxi for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, located in the corridor between rivers and lakes in the Yangtze River Delta, in the south of Jiangsu, adjacent to Suzhou in the east and 128 kilometers away from Shanghai. It borders Taihu Lake in the south, Zhejiang Province and Changzhou in the west. By 22, the whole city has 6 administrative districts, 7 towns and 41 streets.

Wuxi has a total area of 4,65 square kilometers, of which the urban area is 1,632.7 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over two cities (counties) of Jiangyin and Yixing and seven districts of Xishan, Huishan, Chong 'an, Beitang, Nanchang, Binhu and New District. Wuxi is one of the birthplaces of China's national industry in modern times. In the mid-19th century, Wuxi, Jiujiang, Changsha and Wuhu were called the four rice markets in China.

Wuxi's natural environment

Wuxi belongs to the humid monsoon climate zone in the north subtropical zone, with four distinct seasons, abundant heat, abundant precipitation and the same season of rain and heat. Summer is controlled by the summer monsoon from the ocean, with southeast wind prevailing and hot and rainy weather. Winter is controlled by the prevailing winter monsoon in mainland China, and most of them blow northerly winds. Spring and autumn is a period of alternating winter and summer monsoon, with changeable weather in spring and crisp air in autumn.

Wuxi is dominated by plains, with scattered low mountains and residual hills. The south is a water network plain, the north is a high sand plain, the middle is a water network polder made of lowlands, and the southwest is a low mountain and hilly area in Yixing.
