High temperature allowance refers to the post allowance enjoyed by workers engaged in high temperature operations according to law. The high temperature subsidy standard shall be formulated by the provincial human resources and social security administrative department in conjunction with relevant departments, and adjusted according to the social and economic development. There are regional differences, for example, Beijing requires that the subsidy for outdoor high-temperature operation should be no less than 180 yuan per month, Zhejiang is not in 300 yuan, and Guangdong is 150 yuan per month; In some areas, such as Yunnan, Henan and Hainan, daily 10 yuan. Generally, the distribution time is from June to September, and some areas have different durations.
Standards for granting high-temperature subsidies by units: outdoor workers generally have 300 yuan per person per month; Indoor workers usually go to 200 yuan per person per month. If the employing unit arranges laborers to engage in outdoor open-air operations in high temperature weather above 35℃ and cannot take effective measures to reduce the workplace temperature below 33℃, it shall pay high temperature allowance to the laborers.
Matters needing attention in receiving high-temperature subsidies:
1, the standard for granting high temperature allowance shall be independently formulated by the provincial human resources and social departments.
2. In addition to granting high temperature allowance, the employer shall also provide employees with heatstroke prevention drinks and necessary medicines. Moreover, money and materials cannot be used to replace heatstroke prevention and cooling drinks, and heatstroke prevention and cooling drinks cannot be included in the high temperature allowance.
3. High temperature allowance is an integral part of total wages, and it is illegal not to pay it.
Legal basis: Article 17 of the Administrative Measures for Heatstroke Prevention and Cooling Measures: Workers engaged in high-temperature operations shall enjoy post allowances according to law. If the employing unit arranges laborers to engage in outdoor open-air operations in high-temperature weather above 35℃ and cannot take effective measures to reduce the workplace temperature below 33℃, it shall pay high-temperature allowance to the laborers and include it in the total wages.
