The rainy season in Kunming usually begins in May.

The annual precipitation in Kunming is obviously divided into dry and wet seasons in terms of time distribution. May-October is the rainy season, and the precipitation accounts for about 85% of the whole year. November to April is the dry season, and the precipitation only accounts for about 15% of the whole year. Spring is warm, dry and rainy, with strong evaporation and great daily temperature change.
