In addition to burning incense and worshiping Buddha, what else is interesting in Mount Putuo...
Located about 100 nautical miles east of Hangzhou Bay, Zhejiang Province, it is a small island in the Zhoushan Islands. It is located at the mouth of the Qiantang River and in the southeastern waters of the Zhoushan Islands. It is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. The scenic area includes Putuo Mountain, Luojia Mountain and Zhujiajian, with a total area of 41.95 square kilometers. The main island of Mount Putuo covers an area of 12.5 square kilometers, and the highest peak, Mount Foding, is 292 meters above sea level. Putuoshan Town belongs to Putuo District, Zhoushan City, and the town People's Government is located in front of the temple.
1. Go on the same day, it is completely impossible for you to go on the same day. And you also want to go to Luojia Mountain.
2. Three-day trip (go on Friday night, return to Shanghai on Sunday night)
If you are a student, it is recommended to go to Wusong Pier on Friday night for the 20:00 boat ride Putuo Mountain, you can reach the island before 8:00 the next morning. The fare is 160-180.
The three major temples and Nanhai Guanyin are included in one day
When you arrive at Putuoshan Pier, take the bus directly (the only means of transportation on the island) to Puji Temple, the fare is It's 4 yuan.
It takes approximately 1 hour to walk through the entire temple.
Then take the bus directly to the cableway. The fare is 6 yuan. Considering your tight time, you can only choose to take the cableway when going to Foding Mountain to Huiji Temple. The one-way cable car fare is 25 yuan and it takes 10 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. It is recommended that you walk down the mountain, because after going down the mountain, you will find Fayu Temple. You can go directly in and pay homage.
After coming out of Fayu Temple, you take a bus to the last stop, Nanhai Guanyin, which is in the Zizhulin Scenic Area. The bus fare is 4 yuan. It's a bit more crowded there. After you get out, you can walk to the pier and see the scenery along the way. The journey actually takes about 20 minutes. If you are pressed for time, you can still take the bus, which costs 3 yuan.
Early on the third day, we went to Luojia Mountain at 8:00 and Putuo Mountain at 9:30. Take the speedboat directly to Shenjiamen, have a seafood meal in Shenjiamen at noon, and then take the long-distance bus back to Shanghai around 1:00. You can arrive in Shanghai at 7:00, at Shanghai South Railway Station.
Of course, if you want to spend two days, that’s fine. You can take a speedboat directly to Mount Putuo on Saturday morning. Take the speedboat at Shanghai Luchao Port at 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning and arrive at Mount Putuo at noon. Of course the price will be a bit more expensive, at 25.
4. It’s a day like this. You don’t need sunscreen. The temperature at the beach is moderate.
This is my advice to you, I wish you a happy journey!
If these are helpful to you, I hope you will choose this as the best answer. Thanks!
▲Supplementary answer: You must bring your student ID card. The ticket to enter the mountain is half price 80 yuan, and the ticket to Luojia Mountain is also half price. All other temples are full admission.
