The weather in Linzhi in October

1, Tibet1It's really a little cold in the morning and evening. Down jackets and sleeping bags are still not needed (except for going to Mount Everest). Two long sleeves should be enough. It's sunny during the day and it's not cold outside. You should always take sun protection measures.

2, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the ultraviolet ray is strong, and it is dry. Be prepared for altitude sickness when you go for the first time.

It is best to book train tickets online in advance. I feel very crowded every time.

The train entered Tibet, and the scenery along the way was good (it took two days). In Lhasa, you can visit Potala Palace, Norbulingka, Jokhang Temple, Sera Temple, drepung monastery and Barkhor Street (two days). Namco around Lhasa is worth a visit (higher altitude, one day). There are many temples in Shigatse, the core of Tibetan culture (it takes two days to visit Mount Everest). Shannan is the birthplace of Tibetans, and it is very good to have Yongbulakang and Yangzhuoyong Lake (one day). Linzhi is the most interesting place, with excellent natural scenery (Lulang Linhai, Grand Canyon, Basongcuo, etc. But it may take longer. It takes a day to drive from Lhasa to Linzhi, and then fly back from Linzhi after the tour)

5 5. 10/In mid-October, Tibet tourism has been in a relatively low season. As long as you don't get on the satellite around 100, you should be able to get it (definitely more expensive than the mainland).
