Where is the Huiju Temple in Kunshan?

Kunshan Huiju Temple is a cultural tourist attraction.

Huiju Temple was originally located in the south of Maanshan, Kunshan. It began in the Liang Dynasty, an influential Buddhist jungle in history. It was built in the tenth year of Liang Tianjian (AD 5 1 1). With the permission of Liang Wudi, it was built by Master Xiang Hui, a wizard from Xing Wu (Master Xiang Hui was Liang Wudi's teacher). Historically, it is an influential Buddhist jungle in Jiangnan. The temple is full of incense and numerous believers. It is a thousand-year-old temple with a long history of humanities and splendid art and culture. "Four hundred and eighty temples in the Southern Dynasties, with many terraced fields in the misty rain", including Huiju Temple.

Emperor Kangxi visited Huiju Temple in Kunshan four times and wrote a poem. The poem says: "Wan Li has a dense spring rain, cauliflower and wheat ear meifeng. If you want to know the nature of rivers and lakes, dye it." The idiom "make the finishing point" also comes from this. Li Yu, Queen of the Southern Tang Dynasty, once inscribed the platform and clock platform in front of the main hall. Poets Meng Jiao and Zhang Hu's poems about meeting in the temple in the Tang Dynasty and Wang Anshi's poems about harmony in the Song Dynasty were once praised by the world as "four wonders in the mountains".

/kloc-for more than 0/400 years, it has not only been a clean Buddhist holy land in the south of the Yangtze River, but also spread splendid Buddhism, culture, art and unknown historical stories. Unfortunately, during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, the temple was repeatedly robbed by thunder and fire, and the "August 13 Incident" broke out and was bombed by Japanese planes. At present, only the Supreme Pagoda at the top of the Xishan Mountain in Maanshan is left.

Since 2005, with the support of the government, the wishes of the majority of Taiwanese businessmen, the successful promotion of local enterprises and local people, and the assistance of believers from all walks of life, the Nan 'an scenic spot of Taicang Tang in Kunshan Development Zone has been rebuilt on the west side of Dongting Lake Road through the approval of preparation and restoration at the end of the year. The rebuilt Huiju Temple integrates the functions of charity, culture, temples, community welfare and tourism. It is the first temple complex in East China with the style of "Fujian and Taiwan" and the characteristics of Lugang. Bringing together religious, artistic, humanistic, historical and architectural elites from both sides of the strait, it is planned to introduce cross-strait incense from Longshan Temple in Lugang and Tianhou Palace across the sea.

The whole temple planning is based on the design of Longshan Temple in Lugang, taking into account the configuration of Longshan Temple. The architect of the main case of the restoration and reconstruction of Longshan Temple in Lugang led the cross-strait design team to design drawings in Taipei, Kunshan and Quanzhou, and learned the architectural artistic features of Longshan Temple in Falugang, Kaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou, Chengtian Temple and Tianhou Palace on both sides of southern Fujian many times. The preparatory work was carefully planned for two years. After many twists and turns, another accidental opportunity, I met the support of Quanzhou's century-old craftsmanship and craftsmen. Building conditions with Minnan style and Lugang characteristics began to mature, and reconstruction work began. The whole temple combines the beauty of ancient buildings in southern Fujian, Longshan Temple in Taiwan Province Province, Mazu Tempel in Tianhou Palace, the elegance of Suzhou gardens and the ancient commercial street in Lugang Town. Let travelers stroll in the ancient street of Lugang, with red brick buildings and red walls and swallow-tailed ridges, full of nostalgia for the old days, experiencing the hometown atmosphere with strong human feelings, and comforting the homesickness of foreign wanderers.
