British Championship:

The British Championship Snooker Championship, which started at 1977, is one of the oldest events in professional snooker. The venue is Barbican Center in Yorkshire. Initially, only players from the British Isles were allowed to participate in the British Championship. It was not until 1980 that it began to open to other professional players in the world. In the 33rd British Championship held in the past, O 'Sullivan, nicknamed "Rocket", won the championship with seven times, followed by veteran Steve Davis OBE with six times.
