Zhu Yuanzhang ordered the first floor of Jiangnan to be built. Why hasn't it been completed for more than 600 years?
As the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, Nanjing is full of strong historical and cultural atmosphere. In cool and comfortable weather, it is better to climb the Yuejiang Tower, learn about ancient buildings and cultivate sentiment. Located in Gulou District, Nanjing, Yuejiang Building is not only one of the top ten famous buildings in China, but also known as "the first building in the south of the Yangtze River". Climb the Yuejiang Tower, overlooking the whole Nanjing scenery and the Yangtze River scenery at the top of Lion Mountain and on both sides of the Yangtze River.
It was Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, who named the building "Yuejiang Tower", but when the foundation stone was laid, he suddenly decided to stop building this magnificent building, which led to two reasons: one was that God told him not to build Yuejiang Tower in a hurry; Second, after his consideration, he decided to do the things in front of him first, and then consider building the Yuejiang Building. Therefore, it was not completed until 200 1 year, and it took more than 600 years. However, due to the insertion of some modern architectural styles, the building lost a trace of ancient charm.
If you want to climb to the top of the building and enjoy the beautiful scenery, you don't need to be too tired. You can go directly to the top through the elevator in the scenic spot. The most fascinating thing is the landscape inside the building. Entering the first floor, the most famous one is "one chair, one wall and one plaque". The first thing I saw was a dragon chair, which was made of high-quality mahogany. Nine dragons were carved on the back of the chair. The works are meticulous and the image of Kowloon is vivid. On the back of the chair, there is a golden lettering on the wall. On the wall, it is "Reading the River Lou Ji", written by Zhu Yuanzhang himself. Looking up, you can see the word "governing the Tang and Song Dynasties", which was written by Kangxi. This scene is really spectacular.
On the side wall of the second floor, there are 16 statues of Ming emperors, through which we can learn about the history of the Ming Dynasty and show its splendid culture. There is a giant porcelain painting on the third floor, 8 meters wide and 12.8 meters high. It is the largest Jingdezhen porcelain painting in China today. This painting consists of twelve parts, which mainly reflects the historical records of Zheng He's seven voyages to the West at that time. Other objects in the building mainly introduce some advanced science and culture at that time, showing the cultural elegance and historical grand occasion at that time.
When you stand on the two wings of the roof, you can feel that the whole of Nanjing is unobstructed by you, especially the Yangtze River Bridge, which will make you reluctant to leave and want to feel the rich atmosphere of the ancient cultural capital here.
