Liuzhou Planning Bureau recently published the "Liuzhou Recent Construction Plan", which depicts the construction market from 2006 to 20 10. Labao, Jinde and Luo Rong are included in the scope of urban planning, which shows the trend of urban expansion in Liuzhou. With the expansion of urban area, the population and land use scale will also expand. According to the planning forecast, in 20 10, the urban population of Liuzhou will reach1412,000, the urban construction land will be 148. 14.92 square meters, and the per capita population will be 104.92 square meters, making Liuzhou a city.

The focus of recent construction is to continue the Tenth Five-Year Plan, adhere to the principle of paying equal attention to the construction of new areas and the transformation of old cities, speed up the implementation of urban eastward expansion, continue to improve Hedong New Area, Yang and new industrial district, promote the development of Guantang New City, shape the urban landscape and optimize the ecological environment.

The construction of different urban areas has different emphases. The central area of the city focuses on "strengthening the protection of style and features, speeding up the transformation of the old city, relieving urban functions and highlighting urban characteristics"; Liubei District "integrates industrial traffic land, optimizes ecological structure and carries out environmental improvement"; Liunan District "expands construction land, optimizes land use function and strengthens landscaping"; Yufeng District "improves the infrastructure and opens the urban framework".

The plan lists Hedong New District, Yanghe Industrial Zone and Guantang New District as key construction areas in the near future. On the basis of maintaining the existing scale, Hedong New District will improve the central area of Hedong New District, and at the same time build well-functioning service facilities and infrastructure around it to establish a sustainable living environment. Remodeling high-tech transformation, upgrading traditional industrial parks, and exploring a benign development model of "one area with multiple parks"; Yanghe new industrial zone will build a multi-park new industrial zone with automobiles and mechanical parts as the main parts. The second phase of land acquisition and land leveling will be completed in the near future, and infrastructure construction will be carried out. Gu Ting area is included in the scope of Yanghe and new industrial district, and the remaining land acquisition and demolition work within the planned 5 square kilometers will be completed in the near future, and the road network and supporting facilities will be improved to enhance its function as the central service area of Yanghe; Guantang New District is a new city with the spatial pattern of "one heart and two cities" in Liuzhou in the future, with Guantang High-tech Pioneer Park as the core. Guantang Hi-tech Pioneer Park is one of the 10 "China-US Sustainable Development Demonstration Town Projects" initiated by Liuzhou Hi-tech Development Zone. Guantang New District will be gradually built into a modern manufacturing base, a modern logistics center facing Southwest China, South China and ASEAN, a regional industrial exhibition business center, a Industry-University-Research base and a new leisure and holiday industrial zone in Liuzhou.
