Current status of New National Highway 216

Opened to traffic. Shiliu Cloud/Xinjiang Daily (reported by reporter Shi Xin) On March 15, 2022, with the official opening of the G216 Beitun to Fuyun Highway, the entire North Xinjiang Highway Ring Line was completed. The G216 Beitun to Fuyun Highway is constructed in PPP mode. The starting point is located in the northeast of Beitun City. The G3014 Kui'a Expressway connects to Beitun Hub and ends at the south side of Kalatongke Town, Fuyun County, where it connects with S11 Fuyun. It will be connected to Wucaiwan Highway Project. The line passes through Altay City, Qinghe Farm, Fuhai County and Fuyun County; there are 5 interchanges, 2 service areas, 2 maintenance work areas, 4 ramp toll stations, and four two-way lanes along the entire line. The main line of the highway has a total length of 141.236 kilometers, with a total project investment of 3.96 billion yuan. It is constructed using two-way four-lane first-class highway standards. The roadbed is 26 meters wide in the entire section, and the design speed is 100 kilometers per hour.
