February temperature in Panzhihua
I come from Panzhihua. Let me talk about my personal feelings. The climate of Panzhihua is similar to that of Kunming, but it is a little different. The air is quite dry and belongs to the subtropical dry-hot valley climate. The four seasons are not obvious, the annual temperature difference is small, and the daily temperature difference is large. If you look at the weather forecast in Sichuan, you can find that Panzhihua is the widest from several degrees to several degrees. In winter, it usually doesn't fall below 10 degree in the daytime, and there will be single digits at night, but it is almost impossible to fall below 0 degree in the urban area, so only 1965 has snowed since the city was established. Generally, there will be no high temperature exceeding 40 degrees in summer, but the solar radiation is strong at high altitude (including winter). However, because the altitude of the urban area is 300 ~ 500 meters lower than that of Kunming, it is not as cold as Kunming in winter and the solar radiation is not as strong as Kunming. The wind is not as strong as Kunming. There are obvious dry seasons and rainy seasons in a year. The rainy season is usually July and August, and it may be longer, concentrating 90% of the annual precipitation, and the rest is dry season, with almost no rain. The rainy season won't be very humid, and the air humidity can't be compared with that in Sichuan Basin.
In short, in urban areas, the coldest temperature in winter is not lower than 0 degrees, and the coldest temperature in day is hardly lower than 10 degrees. Winter is short, and very cold days are rare. Winter is completely included in the dry season, and it is sunny every day. If you are afraid of cold during the day, go to bask in the sun. After the Lunar New Year, the temperature becomes hot rapidly, and it is the hottest in May.
