Reflections on the trip to Xinjiang
1. The itinerary was too tight. Although no time was wasted, it was very hard to rush, which somewhat affected the experience. However, despite this, it still took almost half a month to take a tour of the more representative places in northern Xinjiang. If traveling is a kind of reading, this would be considered browsing!
2. There is too little time left for Kanas. I had always known that autumn in Kanas was incredibly beautiful, but I didn’t expect that summer would be stunning enough as well. We originally wanted to check in, but who knew it would make us linger. The final result is that except for Kanas Lake, we don’t have time to experience other places. Next time, I must stay in that fairy tale town for at least one night.
3. You must check the weather forecast before going to Hemu. The beauty of Xinjiang is undoubted, but it has to be said that to see her most beautiful, you still have to look at the weather. Most places need sunny days, and it looks best when there are blue skies and white clouds. However, Hemu needs sunny days after the rain. Therefore, although the Hemu we saw was quite beautiful, it was far below expectations. If there is a next time, you should be optimistic about the weather, stay in Hemu first, and then go to Kanas. This arrangement is more reasonable.
4. Sailimu Lake is so beautiful that you should give it more time. Unfortunately, accommodation in Sailimu Lake is too expensive, so one night would be just fine. If you consider cost, it is best to go to Colorful Beach to watch the sunset after returning from Kanas, and then stay in Burqin. Personally, I don’t like Devil City very much, so you can drive directly to Kuitun. In this way, you can arrive at Sailimu Lake early the next day.
5. Yining is also worth staying for one night, walking around and feeling the different customs. In this way, the journey slows down and I don’t feel so rushed or tired. But having said that, the internet celebrity ice cream is still too sweet for me!
6. It’s a pity that I didn’t take the Yizhao Highway. I heard that the road was a bit dangerous, so I gave up for safety reasons. However, walking 577 to Zhaosu is more painful. Moreover, along the way, I walked the entire Duku Highway several times. I guess it won’t be much more difficult to get to Yizhao Highway than Duku Highway, right? ! But I didn't go, so I will never know the answer to this mystery. Speaking of which, we still underestimate ourselves!
7. The horseback riding trip should not be arranged in Qiongkushtai, but should be arranged in Bayinbuluke Prairie. Not only is horseback riding expensive here, but for a novice like me, the alpine grasslands don’t allow me to run freely. This village is quite beautiful, but the road is too far and difficult to walk. Moreover, such alpine grassland scenery can also be seen in other places. In the past, Qiongkush Terrace may have had an independent beauty, but I may not be able to feel it in the future. The only thing that makes me miss is the interesting love road and the lovely heart apricot.
8. You can also stay in Tangbula for one night, but it’s a pity that you passed it in a hurry. However, I'm really not used to living in tents or yurts. It seems that I need to be mentally stronger before I can travel. Or, in other words, people will gradually become stronger in different journeys?
9. It is right to arrange the Duku Highway at the end. It is very beautiful and is just right to review and summarize the beautiful scenery. It’s also right to go and have a look in the desert, but next time you need to find the right route and don’t run around stupidly. However, it is really best to book your accommodation early when going to Xinjiang during the peak season. I was not sure about the itinerary before, and had no idea about the attractions and distances, so I couldn't book a room in advance. When it comes to booking a room, the rooms in the Zhaosu Legion are cheap, clean, and very safe. The most important thing is that it is very close to Xiata Scenic Area, and it only takes ten minutes to drive to the service center. It is worth recommending. It's just a bit old, so I wouldn't recommend it if you mind. Generally speaking, as long as it is not a B&B in a scenic area, it is not expensive as long as it is clean and has hot water. As for food, I just want to bring Kuqa naan back. It’s not that there is no delicious food, mutton is also delicious, but I don’t like the smell. Good food, just try it, I can never get enough of it.
That’s it. I wrote it down because I’m afraid I’ll forget it—I have such a good memory! [cover face][cover face][cover face]
