The 50 teams are divided into 7 grades. Greece, the champion of the European Championship in 2004, automatically qualified for the seed team. However, they may still meet two strong opponents in the group. England, France and the Netherlands are all likely to meet strong rivals like Germany, Italy and Spain. The draw will start from the 7th grade team, the first team will enter the position of A8, then the drawn teams will be sorted from B7 to H7, and finally the team of A7 will be drawn. From the sixth grade, the team draws lots from the normal order of group A to group H until the draw of 1 seed team ends.
