The opening hours of Yuehengshan Central Scenic Area
Changed to 08:00-12:00
Ticket sales will be suspended from 12:00 noon
You can only leave the central scenic area.
Stop operating at night
Nanyue Temple, Wanshou Dading, Zhurong Town, etc.
Xiashan Scenic Area is open to the public as usual.

2. Introduction to Hengshan Scenic Area
Hengshan Mountain, also known as Nanyue, Shouyue and Nanshan, is one of the "Five Mountains" in China. It is located in the southeast of central Hunan Province in China, spanning between Hengyang and Xiangtan basins, with its main parts located in Nanyue District of Hengshan County and eastern Hengyang County. According to records in the "Gan Shi Xing Jing" during the Warring States Period, Hengshan was named because it was located on the wing of the constellation C in the 28th century. The main peaks of Mount Hengshan include Yanhui Peak, Mount Everest, Zigai Peak, and Yuelu Mountain. The highest peak, Zhurong Peak, is 1,300.2 meters above sea level.
