Brief introduction of Xiangtang Temple Grottoes;

Xiangtang Temple is located in Miaoling Mountain, five kilometers southwest of Yushe County. From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, statues were built on the mountains, followed by palaces and temples, which were rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now the temple has been destroyed, the Buddha statue still exists, and there is a thousand Buddha caves area. Now there is a cliff statue, 3.3 meters high, with Fiona Fang's face, a robe over his shoulders, a gauze dress and exquisite patterns around it. It is exquisitely carved and lifelike, and it is indeed an exquisite stone carving in the Tang Dynasty.

The Thousand Buddha Cave in the northeast corner of the temple, also known as the stone abbot, is shaped like an urn. It was very small when I first entered, but now it is getting bigger and bigger. Therefore, it was named Shishi Temple and Xiangtang Temple. The front hole is nearly square, with an area of15m2. There are 1090 stone buddhas around the cave. Its height is 1 m, and the lowest is 8 or 9 cm. Its posture, Dai Bo, who took off his coat, is plump and generous, with a high nose and deep eyes. At first glance, it looks like a condemnation, but on closer inspection, it has its own merits. The ceiling of the cave is like a sedan chair, with four landscape paintings, which are bright and colorful and lifelike. The back hole is located 5 meters northeast of the hole, and its size is similar to that of the front hole. There are 8 vivid and beautiful landscapes and bird patterns in the cave.
