Buddhists don't tell fortune _ What if Buddhists don't tell fortune?
In the commandment, I talked about the "just life" in my family. Now let me introduce you. Of course, the standard of becoming a monk is much stricter than being a family member. The righteous life of a monk is to rule out four kinds of evil lives-the antonym of righteous life is evil life, and there are four kinds of evil lives. Being a family member in India means begging. What are the four kinds of bad lives? The first one is called "bite by bite", which means that family members don't practice running banks, farming and sowing by themselves. This situation is called a bite to eat. This point was adjusted in ancient China. Among Indian monks, farming is not allowed because it sometimes kills animals. The second kind of evil life is called "eating from the mouth", that is, looking up at the sky to predict the wind and rain, predicting the quality of people, including fortune telling, predicting the quality of the country, so as to get food; The third kind is called "Fang Shi", which means going in and out of those rich families and getting food by flattering them, which is a bit like the ancient "aides". During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, those kings had many "aides"; The fourth type, called "Wei Kou Shi", is to get food and clothing by studying spells and fortune telling. These are four kinds of evil life that monks don't do. In addition, it is mentioned in other scriptures that there are five kinds of evil life that monks do not do. What five kinds? The first one is to show strange differences through counterfeiting, which shows that they have special functions, such as seeing the sky, having the magical power to take medicine from the air and so on. , but they are all fake; The second is to praise your own advantages. By boasting about your own advantages, you can arouse the respect of the other party and bring support. You may have noticed that monks who believe in themselves generally don't say what they are; The third kind of divination is good or bad luck, and monks don't do it. Many people in the society, I have to receive such people every day, come to me and say, master, please show me. I said, look at what? Some people say that our unit is going to adjust its position soon, and now there is a director position. After working for so many years, I am still a deputy place ... Oh, this is not easy to answer, so divination is the failure of monks; The fourth kind is called "loud intimidation", which threatens the other party to take food loudly. Put the other person in a state of fear. For example, now that we know the Buddhist world, it doesn't matter if we tell you laymen. Because some management measures in our Buddhist community are not in place, some people in society who are not monks put on clothes and beg for alms from door to door. Have you ever met one? Wear a hat in winter, and there will be hair when you take it off! In Anhui, it is said that people in a village take this kind of thing as their occupation. It is said that the village chief also took Sharp from them. This kind of thing is particularly harmful to Buddhism. If you meet such a person, how to test him? It's simple. Just say read me a few words of mercy mantra. I guess he won't watch it. What about this kind of person? One of their usual tricks of cheating is "threatening loudly". Let me give this example to illustrate what a loud threat is. When he came to your house, he strangely threatened that "something will happen to your house in a few days"! When you heard it, you panicked and asked, "What should I do?" This kind of person will say, "I have an idea. In a few days, I will go to Jiuhua Mountain, where I will give you a few incense and pray to protect you from disaster. " As for this incense, it's still a charge of one stick of incense 100 yuan, and three sticks of 300 yuan. I guess it's still cheap! Of course, there are more. This is a threat, of course, there is fraud in it. In the future, you should know that all this is false. Ignore him. The fifth is to praise the provider, which is also a bad life. For example, I may be short of some clothes now, so I will tell you something like "It's good to support clothes, and I will be rich in the future" to attract the attention of the other party and get support.
