Note: The order of the first round and the second round can be decided by the players themselves. The organizing committee will select up to 80 players to enter the first round, up to half of the first round players to enter the second round, and then six players to enter the finals. All rounds of songs must be played by heart, and the songs played must be published.

Third round

Violin and Orchestral Concerto (selected by contestants)

The player chooses a violin and orchestra concerto.

Step 3: Bonus

There is no tied prize for the first prize, with a prize of $5,000, gold medal, certificate and trophy.

Second prize $3,000, silver medal, certificate

The third prize is 2000 dollars, bronze medal and certificate.

Fourth to sixth prize $ 1000, certificate

There are also some individual awards.

After the contest, the organizing committee will organize a championship concert, and the contestants must attend.

The organizing committee will specially recommend the winner of the Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky International Music Competition.

4. Organizing Committee arrangement

Players will be informed whether they have passed the pre-selection around April 30, 2009.

Players will arrive in Korea on June 16 at the latest and report to the designated place. At that time, a lottery ceremony will be held to determine the order of the competition.

In the first and second rounds, the contestants have 15 minutes of rehearsal time every day, and the organizing Committee provides venues and equipment. Players can practice with the orchestra for 60 minutes before the third round. At that time, the organizing Committee will make specific rehearsal arrangements.

The organizing committee arranged piano accompaniment for violinists and cellists. Players can also bring their own accompaniment at their own expense.

5. Transportation and accommodation

International players are responsible for their round-trip air tickets.

The organizing Committee arranges shuttle buses for the contestants from the hotel to the rehearsal and competition venues.

Six finalists will receive transportation subsidies after the competition.

The organizing Committee will provide the contestants with a list of local hotels, which will be reserved by the contestants themselves.

Players eliminated in advance can stay and watch the next game at their own expense.

6. Other matters

The decision of the judges is final, and the contestants are not allowed to appeal.

Winners must attend the closing ceremony and award ceremony.

During the competition, players and referees are not allowed to make any comments to the media without authorization.

The organizing Committee has the right to record the competition on the spot and publicize it in the media. Players are not allowed to ask for any fees.

The organizing committee has the right to arrange performances for the winners within 24 months after the competition. The finalists will sign an agreement with the organizing Committee on this matter.

In case of dispute, the Russian and Korean version rules shall prevail.

Signing up for the competition is regarded as agreeing and abiding by the rules of the competition.
