There are flying stones, Xiantao stones, monkeys looking at the sea, immortals showing their boots, immortals leading the way, immortals playing the piano, immortals playing chess, dreaming of the moon, lions grabbing the ball, golden roosters calling Tianmen and pigs looking in the mirror.

Some grotesque rocks in Huangshan Mountain look like rare birds and animals, such as "monkeys watching peace", "squirrels jumping into the sky" and "turtles climbing mountains".

Some are like various figures, such as "immortals playing chess", "goddess embroidering", "couples talking about the sky" and "boys worshiping Guanyin".

Others are similar to various objects, such as "dream pen gives birth to flowers", "pen peak", "fairy drying boots" and "flying clock".

Some of them are named after historical stories, myths and legends, such as "Su Wu herding sheep", "Taibai drunk", "Song Wu fighting tigers" and "Dharma facing the wall".

Huangshan Mountain is located in Huangshan City, southern Anhui Province. It is about 40 kilometers long from north to south and 30 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of about 1.200 square kilometers. Among them, Huangshan Scenic Area covers an area of 160.6 square kilometers, with a ground span of11'-1817' and a latitude of 30 0 1'-30'.

The buffer zone covers an area of 490.9 square kilometers and is bounded by the administrative boundaries of five towns and one field (Tangkou Town, Tanjiaqiao Town, sankou town, Chenggeng Town, Jiaocun Town and Yanghu Forest Farm in huangshan district) adjacent to the scenic spot.
