July 26th is the founding day of Esperanto.

Esperanto is an international auxiliary language created by Polish ophthalmologist Dr. Zamenhof. Esperanto, based on several major languages of Indo-Chinese family, has improved in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, with 28 phonemes, which are represented by 28 letters accordingly. Pronunciation and spelling are completely regular, making it easier to learn and master. 1On July 26th, 887, Zamenhoff published the first Esperanto book at his own expense. Since then, people have regarded July 26th as the founding day of Esperanto.
