Time of entering and leaving Mei in 2023
The annual rainy season is basically from mid-June to the first half of July, sometimes it may be longer or shorter than this time. Meiyu refers to a period of continuous rainy weather in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China from mid-June to mid-July every year. At this time, the utensils are easy to mildew, so it is also called mildew rain. When the plums in the south of the Yangtze River are yellow, they are also called plum rain or Huang Meiyu.
Plum entry means that the average temperature exceeds 22℃ for five consecutive days, and it is considered as plum entry if it rains for four consecutive days. On the other hand, if the average temperature exceeds 30℃ for five consecutive days and it doesn't rain, it means plum blossom. Therefore, the rainy season also depends on the weather, and there is no specific time setting.
Matters needing attention in meiyu period
1, clothes should be washed and changed frequently in rainy days, and it is best to choose cloth clothes that are easy to dry and smooth. In an air-conditioned room, wear a sleeveless coat, shoulder pad and trousers to cover your knees, so that vulnerable parts such as joints can be protected. Even if it is hot, remember to put a small blanket and a thin quilt when you sleep at night to avoid catching cold. Turn off the air conditioner before going out, open the window to adapt to the outdoor temperature, and then put on thin clothes to travel.
2. In rainy days, if the clothes in the closet are too moist and the air is not circulating, it is easy to breed mold. Therefore, the clothes and quilts stored should not only be washed in advance, but also thoroughly dried before being put into the cabinet.
