At sunset, when the lights are on, a colorful water curtain light show will be staged again in Wu Xiu Lake of Liwan Lake Park. On the sparkling lake, the most beautiful Xiguan style in the core area of Lingnan culture will be presented to tourists. What are the new changes?

Welcome to Guangzhou. Cultural tourism activities in Liwan District started with "Water Curtain Light Show" and reappeared on July 17. The normal performance time is 8: 00 every Wednesday and Saturday.

It is worth mentioning that, in order to consolidate the achievements in fighting the epidemic and boost the people's firm determination and confidence in fighting the epidemic, combined with the characteristics of Guangzhou Flower City, the preheating music of "Liwan Water Curtain Show" was changed from the original Cantonese opera and Cantonese opera performance to "Blooming Guangzhou", which sent good wishes for an early victory over the epidemic and the normal operation of the city. At the same time, the theme of the light and shadow show in Xiguan Life Experience Hall was changed to "Flowers bloom in Guangzhou", which echoed the theme of preheating music in the water curtain show.

Liwan Water Curtain Show began in February 2008 and was well received by tourists and friends. Up to now, 97 performances have been held, among which Lizhiwan Scenic Spot was first included in the Liwan Sub-venue of Guangzhou International Lighting Festival in 2008. With the theme of "Lingnan Water Town, Guangdong Rhyme and Guanghua", it has continuously presented 10 days of wonderful performances to the public, attracting 3.63 million visitors throughout the year and arousing great concern from the society.

Normalized performance time of "Liwan Water Curtain Show"

1. Light and shadow show on the exterior wall of Wenta, light and shadow show on the exterior wall of Xiguan Life Experience Hall and holographic projection show on Liwan Grand Stage: staged every Wednesday and Saturday from 20: 00 to 20: 30;

2. Open-air movies in Jiang Guangnai Square: staged every Wednesday and Saturday at 20:30-2 1:00;

3. Liwan Water Curtain Show: one show every Wednesday and Saturday at 20:00; If there are special reasons, the performance will be suspended on that day. 4. "80-meter-high spray and music fountain": it is open every Saturday and Sunday 10:00- 10:30 and 15:00- 15:30. Severe weather such as strong winds is suspended.
