? Save the poor fairy? Selected Feng Shui Stories of Yang Junsong

At the intersection of the east and west rivers outside Douzhou (Lingnan Jimizhou in Tang Dynasty), a huge horizontal stone locked the river, and the gap formed by the natural stone dam formed a waterfall. There is a sinus hole at the bottom of the rockfill dam, which runs through the river bottom upstream of the dam and forms a spiral vortex, which is called Luodou Cave. In the Tang Dynasty, the imperial court took the word "Dou" of Luodou Cave as its title. In fact, the two words "Luo" and "Dou" both mean caves in lingnan slang, such as "Luoti" and "Shuidou" in Xinyi dialect, which means underground caves and water caves.

Yang Junsong, a native of Douzhou, is a descendant of Yang Yi, the secretariat of ShuaiRong Prefecture, Liao Li Canal in Sui Dynasty. Before Yang Junsong was born, his father, Yang Shuwei, died young. He is the posthumous son of He family.

Legend has it that Yang Junsong could predict sunny days and rainy days when he was young. When Yang Junsong was still in his mother's belly, his father died. Shortly after he remarried, his mother gave birth to him. Legend has it that when he was born and just left his mother's body, he held a section of umbilical cord tightly in his small hand, commonly known as "firewood whip" among the people.

Umbilical cord is the blood vessel connecting fetus and placenta. It's fishy and smelly, which always makes people feel unclean. The midwife gently removed Yang Junsong's little hand, took off the umbilical cord, lit a handful of dry straw, threw the umbilical cord in, turned it into ashes together, then poured it into the urine bucket and splashed it on the vegetable floor behind the house. Who knows that a few days later, an unknown small tree grew in the vegetable field, and the longer it grew, the bigger it grew. What's more strange is that there is a flower on the branch, which always blooms unbeaten all year round. Yang Junsong plays around this strange tree every day.

Over time, Yang learned more about this flower. He found that it would rain every time the petals bloomed. The more flowers bloom, the more it rains, the smaller it blooms, the lighter it rains, the petals close, and the sunny day will clear up. Yang Junsong called it "sunny and rainy flowers", and predicted the weather by blooming and falling.

One day after the long drought, the villagers complained about the bad weather. Yang Junsong said, "Don't worry, it's going to rain soon." Words just say that finish, suddenly dark clouds rolling in the sky, thunder and lightning, a shower immediately poured down, everyone immediately smile, all say Yang Junsong is "imperial edict mouth".

It turned out that when Yang Junsong saw an unknown tree suddenly blossom in the yard, he blurted out that it was going to rain.

Until one day, Yang Junsong went out to play with his neighbor's children and forgot to feed the cows at home. When he remembered that it was time to go home and feed the cows, the cows were hungry. He broke free from the reins and ate all the vegetables in the vegetable field. The little tree that can predict the weather with flowers has also been eaten, leaving only one trunk. Yang Junsong burst into tears when he saw the number, and savagely whipped the cow with a small whip. The cow was not damaged, but the surrounding stones rolled around. From then on, Yang Junsong could no longer predict the change of the weather, but he was accidentally whipped to drive away the mountain.
