* * * Religious culture: the origin and introduction of * * * religion.
Let's take a look with me from the perspective of * * * teaching culture!
* * * Origin of religion
Before the emergence of * * * religion, people in * * * did not have a specific unified calendar, and each tribe took the major events in the tribe as the era. So at that time, various calendars were popular among the * * * tribes. Some took Amurus bin Labille as the tribal leader, some took the death of Walid bin Muanye as the era, and some took the day when Saint Ibrahim established Kaaba as the era. Besides, such calendars are unstable and constantly changing.
Among many calendars, the longest one is the calendar led by King Abdullah of Yemen with the attack on Mecca. This year is called the Year of the Elephant. According to Ibn Akchir's book A General History of * * *, this calendar has been used until Umar, the second caliph of * * *. Since the * * * religion appeared in the * * * Peninsula, the calendars used by the * * * tribes gradually disappeared, but there was still no unified and fixed calendar at first. At that time, from the time when the Prophet was forced to move to Medina because of persecution by polytheists in Mecca until his death, it was named after major events every year.
For example, the first year of Mu Sheng's migration to Medina was called "Izni", which means that Mu Sheng ordered religious believers to migrate to Medina to avoid persecution by polytheists; The second year is called the year of jihad, because this year * * * was allowed to resist the enemy; The third year is called the examination year, and so on. The year when Musheng died is called the farewell year. After the death of Mu Sheng, no major historical events have determined the year. It was not until the second Khalifa Umar period, that is, 17 years after Mu Sheng moved to Medina (A.D. 18 years), with the help of an Iranian scholar, that the religious calendar of * * * was officially decided.
One of the main reasons that prompted Umer to determine the calendar was that * * * had a vast territory and many letters. Because there is no fixed calendar, mistakes often occur when recording official documents and changing time. According to historical records, at that time, a governor sent Omar a document with the date of "Shabang". When Omar received the document, he didn't know which month it was. Sometimes Omar sends a document to the governor, and the governor always writes to ask what day it is. This has brought many difficulties to * * *' s work, and Uma intends to make a * * * calendar. So he invited famous scholars and his companions to discuss how to make calendars.
It is suggested that Umar turn to Iranian scholars for help, because Iran has its own calendar since ancient times. Among the Persians who converted to * * * at that time, there was a scholar named Hulmzan, who was proficient in Persian calendar, and Uma asked him to help make * * * teaching calendar. Hulmzan taught Uma how to calculate the year, month and day, and Uma made a * * * calendar according to Hulmzan's calendar method, also known as the Hijilai calendar, which has been in use ever since. The Arabic word "Muanlih" (calendar) evolved from Persian words "Maher" (month) and "Luz" (day), and was then used to deduce the historical meaning from this word.
In the process of establishing * * * religion, there are also differences on the issue of the times. Everyone unanimously chose the most important events in Mu Sheng's life as the times, and the most important events in Mu Sheng's life were his birth, sanctification, migration and death. However, people have different views on the date of Musheng's birth and sanctification, and Musheng's death is a sad day. In view of this, we take the important historical event of Mu Sheng's migration to Medina as an era, because Mu Sheng's migration to Medina is the beginning of the development and growth of * * * religion.
