In 2019, Qijun will drive to Tibet again, and enjoy the new and beautiful scenery in Yunnan.
I went to Tibet for the first time in 2018. Due to time constraints, I didn’t go to the Ngari area. I didn’t even mention that Ngari didn’t count as having been to Tibet, so I went to Tibet again in September 2019. Since my wife has always wanted to go to Xinjiang, this time I planned to take the Yunnan-Tibet line from Yunnan to Tibet. After passing through Ali, I took the Xinjiang-Tibet line to leave Tibet. After a series of preliminary preparations, I set off for my second trip to Tibet in mid-September. journey.
Because I have visited Yunnan many times, in order to save time, I traveled all the way within Yunnan. On the 12th, I drove 1,022 kilometers per hour directly from Guiyang to Lijiang. In the evening, I wandered around Lijiang Old Town and took some photos of the night view of Lijiang Old Town with my mobile phone.
Shangri-La Songzanlin Monastery and Lamu Yangtso Lake. Lamu Yangcuo Lake, which means "Lake of the Holy Mother's Soul" in Tibetan, is very famous in the divine world because it is the soul lake of the famous goddess Baiden Lamu. Although Lamu Yangcuo Lake is not large in area, it is It has a great reputation in Tibetan areas. When the weather is clear, the water is as clear as a mirror. The lake sometimes makes strange sounds and various wonderful sights appear. It is said that some believers can see their past and present lives from the images on the bottom of the lake. I tried hard to look at the lake for a long time, hoping to see my past and present lives, but I didn't see anything. Maybe I wasn't religious enough.

The famous Jinsha River U-turn cost 20 yuan to get off from the parking lot I took this photo from the observation deck. You can’t see the whole big turn without going down to the observation deck.
On the way to Feilai Temple, we passed Baima Snow Mountain
No one has climbed to the top of Kawagebo Peak in Meili Snow Mountain, one of the four sacred mountains in Tibetan areas. A 17-member joint mountaineering team organized by China and Japan tried to climb Kawagbo Peak, but encountered an avalanche and killed all 17 people. The locals believed that the mountain god killed them in anger. Since then, in order to ensure the sacred status of this mountain in the hearts of local people, the country has prohibited anyone from climbing Kawagebo Peak.
I was lucky enough to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain on Kawagebo Peak in the Meili Snow Mountains in the early morning
The salt wells by the Lancang River still maintain the traditional salt-making process. The dirt road into Yanjing is very narrow, so you can't miss the car. Below the road cliff is the turbulent Lancang River, so you have to be very careful when driving in.
Salt Well
Sun-salted salt on the cliff
In front of the salt well is Gada Village. I originally planned to stay one night in Jiada Village, see their museum, and taste the famous local Jiajia noodles. I made an agreement online with Gesong Jiangcuo about staying at his house. Later, due to road construction in the 318 Haitong ditch section, the road was closed. , a large number of vehicles entering Tibet will detour from the Sichuan-Tibet Line to Mangkang via the Yunnan-Tibet Line in those days. Worried about traffic jams, I only stayed in Yanjing for a few hours and arrived at Mangkang that day.
The harvested salt is about to be dried in the salt pond.
Let’s take a panoramic view of the salt well
I arrived in Mangkang County in the evening and took a photo of the sunset with my mobile phone.
Yela Pass, I forgot to check in here when I came here in 2018, so I made it up this time.
The famous 72 turns on the Nujiang River may seem very steep, but in fact it is not that scary to drive. For people like us who have been walking on mountain roads in Guizhou for a long time, it is simply child's play.
Ranwu Lake was originally the upper reaches of the Polong Zangbo River. About 200 years ago, a mountain collapse occurred near the current exit, and a large number of boulders and debris blocked the river channel, forming a typical barrier lake. It is a long and narrow strip, 29 kilometers long and less than 1 kilometer wide on average. The river is not deep, generally no more than 6 meters. Ranwu Lake is located in Ranwu Town, the southwest corner of Basu County, Qamdo Prefecture, about 90 kilometers away from Baima Town, the county seat. It covers an area of 22 square kilometers and the lake’s altitude is 3850 meters. According to local legend, there is a buffalo in the lake and an ox on the lake shore. They compete with each other and turn into mountains after death. Ranwu Lake is sandwiched between the two mountains. In the past, the accommodation conditions in Ranwuzhen were very poor and there was no electricity. When visiting here, I usually stayed in Basu County. I stayed in Basu County when I came here in 2018, but I couldn’t take pictures of the sunset or sunrise. Now that electricity is available here, the food and accommodation conditions are comparable to those in Basu. This time I stayed directly in Ranwu Town. It's a pity that the weather was bad and I couldn't take any pictures of the sunset or sunrise.

Lingzhi’s famous Lulang Town. Before coming here, I saw Lulang Town introduced online. It is said to be the Swiss town in China. It is extremely beautiful. After arriving, I was very disappointed. It is completely a commercial place artificially created by the Evergrande Group. It is not a small town where Tibetans live. town.

Sunrise in Lazi County. Originally, I drove out in the afternoon the first day and found a good location to shoot the sunrise, and planned to shoot the sunrise the next morning. Unexpectedly, as soon as I hit the road in the early morning, I encountered a military vehicle from the army. All vehicles on the road were required to pull over and give way. There were about seventy to eighty military vehicles in the convoy, and it was endless as far as the eye could see. At this time, the sky was already red. If you wanted to get there to take the photo, It was too late at the sunrise location, so I had to shoot on the roadside.

Finally arrived at Everest Base Camp, this is Everest Peak Elevation Measurement Monument, the altitude here is 5200 meters. Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick that day, and Mount Everest was always hidden in the clouds.
Rongbuk Monastery, the current Everest Base Camp has been moved here.
The black ones in the distance are the accommodation tents at Everest Base Camp, where we will stay that night.
I set up my camera on the hill next to Rongbuk Temple and waited for 3 hours but failed to see Mount Everest appear. Later, the clouds became thicker and thicker, the wind became stronger and stronger, and I was really cold. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I had to go back to the tent to rest.
I took pictures of star trails at the Everest Base Camp at night. Unfortunately, the wind was too strong. It was estimated to be 7 or above. The tripod was still not stable even with a heavy lifting bag. In addition, there were many clouds in the sky, so the stars in the photos were not good. The resolution of the track is not good, it is virtual, and not dense. I will post it and take a look at it. I will leave some regrets and take pictures next time.
The next morning at the Everest base camp, it was cloudy and snowy, making it impossible to see Mount Everest. I immediately drove to the Gawula Pass, hoping to see Mount Everest from a distance, but unfortunately the clouds It was too dense and I couldn’t see it. When there are no clouds, I can see four peaks above 8,000 meters, namely Mount Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu. The scenery here is definitely world-class. It can be said that Gaula Pass is the most spectacular snow mountain viewing platform in the world, and Niubei Mountain is slightly inferior to it.
This was taken with a 500mm telephoto at Gawula Pass. Judging from the location, it should be the fifth highest mountain in the world, Makalu Peak with an altitude of 8,463 meters. Unfortunately, the top of the mountain was blocked by clouds and I couldn’t take the entire shot. , this was the only peak above 8,000 meters that could still be seen at the Gawula Pass that morning.

There are beautiful views all the way. I kept stopping to take pictures. This is the beautiful view behind the car.

The snow-capped mountains in the clouds and mist are hazy like a fairyland.
The pastures under the snow-capped mountains in Zhongba County are just like what is sung in the song: “White clouds are floating in the blue sky, and white sheep are running under the white clouds. The sheep seem to be speckled with silver. Sprinkled on the grassland, how lovely it is to hurt people."

The vast grassland under the snow-capped mountains is full of grass and beautiful water. Blue sky, snow-capped mountains, green grass, and clear water, what a beautiful picture.

I finally came to Ali, which I have been fascinated by for a long time. They say that if you have not been to Ali, you cannot be considered to have been to Tibet. Now I can finally say that I have been to Tibet. hehe! ! !
The beautiful scenery on the roadside
I have longed for the sacred mountain Kailash. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to go to the mountain. I will regret it and come back after retirement.
This is the Xitian Yaochi in Journey to the West, the holy Lake Manasarovar with an altitude of 4,500 meters. The snow-capped mountain across the lake is the Namunani Peak with an altitude of 7,694 meters. She is separated from Mount Kailash. Looking across the lake. There was also an episode here. In front of the lake was a large beach. I saw ruts and drove in. After parking the car and taking a few photos, I was about to leave when I discovered that the car was stuck in the sand and locked at low speed. The four-wheel drive still couldn't come out. After a long time of hard work, I found an iron frame that someone else had discarded not far away. I dragged it over and put it under the wheel. I continued to lock the low-speed four-wheel drive and finally got out of trouble. No longer daring to stop to take pictures, I quickly rushed out of the beach and onto the hard surface before stopping the car.

Pangong Tso is also known as Cuomuangla Hongbo, which means "long-necked swan" in Tibetan. It has the highest bird island in the world. Located about 12 kilometers northwest of Ritu County in Ngari Prefecture, it is an inland lake that originally belonged to China at the junction of Ritu County and Kashmir. (According to the 1959 Sino-Indian Line of Actual Control, this lake is still controlled by China. Our country does not recognize that it is now line of actual control). After the Sino-Indian War, India controlled the southern Tibetan area of China, and Pangong Tso became an "international lake", running east-west, about 155 kilometers long, about 15 kilometers wide from north to south, and only 5 meters at its narrowest point. The lake has an altitude of 4,240 meters, a water depth of 57 meters, and a drainage area of 28,714 square kilometers. Pangong Tso is an inland lake. Pangong Tso Resort under the setting sun , we stayed here for the night, it cost 380 yuan a night, and there were only more than 10 rooms. They were in short supply. If we came late, they would be gone.
The weather was clear that night when we arrived at Pangong Tso. There was no moon, and the sky was full of stars. It was extremely beautiful. I had not seen such a starry sky for many years. I set up the camera and spent more than two hours taking pictures of the stars. Orbital and Milky Way, everyone was frozen when we finished shooting.
