On-street parking charge standard in Chongqing central city in 2022

Dear friends who are driving in Chongqing, please note that the Municipal Development and Reform Commission has issued the Notice on Relevant Issues Concerning the Charges for Vehicle Parking Services. From April this year 15, the new charging standard of on-street parking service for motor vehicles was implemented in the central city. See below for details.

According to the notice, in the key management area of the central city, the charge for the first hour (including 7:30-20: 30) during the day is 3.00 yuan/half-hour berth, and it is 4.00 yuan/half-hour berth from the next hour; At night (20: 30- 7:30 the next day), the charge is 2.00 yuan/half-hour berth, with the maximum not exceeding 10.00 yuan/berth.

In the general management area of the central city, the charge for the first hour during the day (including 7:30-20: 30) is 2.00 yuan/half-hour berth, and the charge for the second hour is 2.50 yuan/half-hour berth; Charge at night (20: 30- 7:30 the next day) 1.00 yuan/half hour berth, with a maximum of 5.00 yuan/berth.

It is understood that the on-street parking service of motor vehicles is charged in half an hour, and less than one charging unit is charged by one charging unit; Parking across daytime and nighttime hours shall be accumulated according to the charging standards of different periods; No monthly or annual fees shall be charged. On-street parking spaces with parking time less than 15 minutes are exempt from parking service fees, and those with parking time exceeding 15 minutes are charged from the start and end time.

In addition, the managers of on-street parking spaces should clearly mark the price according to the provisions of laws and regulations and the provisions of the municipal market supervision department on the way of clearly marking the price, and publicize the charging subject, price form, charging basis, charging standard, scope of reduction and exemption, market supervision and complaints and reporting telephone numbers of industry authorities in a prominent position. Military vehicles, standard police cars, fire engines, ambulances and engineering rescue and disaster relief vehicles are exempt from on-street parking service fees when performing emergency tasks; Other vehicles that enjoy the reduction or exemption policy according to laws and regulations shall be exempted or reduced from on-street parking service fees.

Counties (autonomous counties) outside the central city shall, according to the actual situation, formulate the charging standards for on-street parking services of motor vehicles and report them to the local people's government (Administrative Committee) for approval before implementation.

In order to facilitate the citizens to further understand and master the new charging standard and quickly calculate the parking charging price, the Municipal Urban Management Bureau calculated the charging reference values of different parking periods according to the latest price standard for the general public's reference.
