I recommend a place on the roadside that is affiliated with the provincial government's foreign affairs reception. The environment and people are good. It is right at the parking lot opposite the entrance to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. The price is moderate and the taste is good. Also, when renting a car there, don’t go to places like Ji, they are all scams.

Very close to Shaanxi Provincial Museum. Accommodation there is also relatively cheaper. (Later, visit the Buddhist Cultural Theme Park: Chang'an City Ruins Park of the Tang Dynasty)
2. Supplement the urban items that were not visited in the previous itinerary; the Forest of Steles Museum is free and is located at the base of the city wall, Wenchang Road (Forest of Steles) If you like calligraphy, you can visit the station. There is also an academy street next to it where you can go shopping.
3. Visit the ancient city wall in the evening (tour time is about 1-2 hours). This majestic ancient city wall of Xi'an was built on the basis of the imperial city of Chang'an City in the Tang Dynasty in the early Ming Dynasty. It is one of the important symbols of this historical and cultural city. Its scale and complete preservation are rare in the world. Here you can appreciate the antique scenery of the ancient city. Go up the ancient city wall from the south gate. Rent a bicycle for 20 yuan/100 minutes, which is enough for a quick ride of more than an hour. Standby:
1. North line: Yan'an Zaoyuan 21 yuan, Hukou Waterfall 81 yuan, Huangdi Mausoleum 91 yuan. Among them, Hukou Waterfall is one of the three major waterfalls in my country, and it is mainly spectacular.
2. Urban area: Bell and Drum Tower, Forest of Steles, Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, South Gate City Wall, Shaanxi History Museum are all 4A, Mosque - the earliest and most representative temple in China, Xingshan Temple - Tibetan The Royal Buddhist Temple,
Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, Shaanxi History Museum, Tang Furong Garden, and Xingshan Temple are all together. Taxis are difficult to get near the Bell Tower.
3. Bell Tower You can take the airport bus from Regent Hotel on the west side for 25 yuan/person. The airport bus near the train station is at the entrance of Jiefang Hotel for 30 yuan/person. It leaves on the hour and arrives in one hour. It is about 50 kilometers away from the airport and costs about 100 yuan by taxi.
4. Small Wild Goose Pagoda, located in Xi'an Museum, Youyi Road, Beilin District.
The above is a Xi'an travel guide planned and formulated after collecting a large amount of information (Baidu, Taobao, various travel websites) before traveling. I hope it can help friends who are planning a trip to Xi'an.
After the trip, the following experiences are recorded for reference only: (Original by Smiling Butterfly)
1. Taxis in Xi'an are basically unavailable. The four of us only took a taxi during the trip to Xi'an. I took two taxis out of the airport and took a taxi to Beiguan. I didn’t use a meter, so the driver asked for 120 yuan. Some regular taxis said it would cost 150 or 160 yuan. The second trip was from the southeast corner of the city wall to Beiguan, where I picked up my luggage. The airport, plus the airport expressway toll (20 yuan for a round trip fee), is 108 yuan per ticket, so it is definitely more cost-effective to use the meter; at any other time, taxis will not stop or pay attention to you, and they are gas-burning taxis. The car is the cow! ~On the contrary, it is very convenient to travel by public transportation
2. The accommodation does not have to be within the city walls, as long as it is convenient for public transportation. The urban area of Xi'an is not large. The price of accommodation in Beiguan is reasonable. There is a China Resources Wanjia Supermarket nearby, which is more convenient and cheaper to eat. Although there are many snacks in Xi'an, not everyone is accustomed to eating them, so most of us still eat Hunan food. The average price in the hotel is RMB 20 per person. The consumption is not high and it is very Good deal. Because the scenic spots in Xi'an are relatively scattered, if you are traveling with a group, it is recommended not to go to the local area. Join the group at the departure point to understand the itinerary clearly, or do your homework for a self-guided tour:)
3. Xi'an local area There are many travel agencies, and many small tour guides on the streets or in scenic spots are handing out flyers or business cards. There are travel prices for various routes, some are all-inclusive, and some can only include the fare. Basically, the fare for the east and west routes is 20 yuan. Some also require a comprehensive tour guide fee of 10 yuan. The all-inclusive price is Coupled with the regular ticket prices of scenic spots, I personally feel that it is not appropriate to join a tour group. You must go to all the scenic spots specified by the travel agency, which will definitely include meaningless scenic spots, and there are many shopping spots. Xi'an people are quite good at fooling you. Shopping; for example, on the Eastern Route Tour, the all-inclusive price for 6 scenic spots (Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Lintong Museum, Qinling Underground Palace, Bian Que Tomb, Mingsheng Palace of the Tang Dynasty, and Bingjian Pavilion) is 270, and there are also 3 spots (Terracotta Warriors and Horses 90, Huaqing Pool 70, The Qinling Underground Palace (45) costs 220, and the only things worth seeing are the Terracotta Warriors and Horses; the 6 points do not include Huaqing Pool. The tour guide said that the Huaqing Pool ticket is 70, and there is a minimum consumption of 198 (hot springs). I think this statement is unreliable; later We decided to go to the east route by ourselves, just to see the Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Pool. It was very convenient to take the train at the train station, with a bus every 10 minutes, and there were quite a few buses. We didn’t need to wait for the bus back and forth. The journey only took 40 minutes, and the 914 cost 1 It takes about an hour and the transportation is very convenient. There is no need to join a tour group. The fare is 7 yuan/person/trip.
4. Since my mom was traveling with me, the moms signed up for a two-day trip to northern Shaanxi for 360 yuan per person, including Hukou Waterfall, cave dwellings, distant views of Pagoda Mountain, and the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor. In summary, there was not much to see. . In addition, I spent 100 yuan per person to watch the Yan'an Defense War performance, and 70 yuan for three meals per night. The food was unpalatable, and they said it was the three specialties of Yan'an, potatoes, pumpkins, and dates. The main reason was that riding in the car was too hard, and most of the time On the road, the elderly people really couldn't bear it. Under the lobbying of the tour guide, I bought 5 packs of red dates at 68 yuan/pack, which is expensive~~~; we young people took a one-day tour of Huashan for 330 yuan, including admission and mountain fare 40, and a round trip cableway 150, one of which A shopping spot selling medicinal herbs and a lunch spot cost more than 40 yuan for a side dish. We didn't have lunch there, and the tour guide wasn't allowed to walk around. We ate at other places, and the taste wasn't very good.
5. Some travel agencies say that the one-day charter price is 80 yuan/car. In fact, you must go to the specified 4-6 scenic spots, and there are 3 shopping spots. I originally planned to charter a car to go to the Western Front, but I gave up because I had little interest in temples.
6. In fact, there are many free places to visit in Xi'an that are good to visit. We went to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum on the afternoon of the 1st. There were not many people. They were not allowed in after 5 o'clock, so we had to go early. Since we didn't go to the Tang Furong Garden, we went to Zhang Xueliang's Mansion instead. It's also free of charge and it's just under the Dacha City Station and within walking distance. There are all the prints and movies introducing the Xi'an Incident, as well as wax figures, which are very realistic. It's quite good. If you have time, you can check out the military museum in the city. . .
7. The Bell Tower and Drum Tower are one stop away from each other. The Bell Tower is one station away from the South Gate and three stations away from the North Gate. It is more southerly. You need to familiarize yourself with the map before going. Airport buses are available at the entrance of the Jiefang Hotel in front of the train station and the Royalton Hotel near the Bell Tower, or you can take a taxi directly.
8. The weather in Xi'an was a bit gray. When we went there, the weather was relatively cool and it felt like autumn. However, we didn't use our coats or parasols, but we did use our umbrellas; Hua When it rains on the top of the mountain, you need a poncho. The higher you go, the more expensive it is, so you can buy it early. . It was a sunny day at the foot of the mountain, and many people bought hats and sleeves but didn’t use them.
