Passengers departing from Hong Kong for the mainland of China must undergo an additional COVID-19 rapid nucleic acid test at the Hong Kong International Airport at least 5 hours (at most 8 hours) before the flight takes off (the test procedure takes about 2 to 3 hours), and the test result will be negative when they check in. Passengers who cannot produce a valid test report will be refused boarding.
At present, only Shenzhen Bay Port is accessible, so it is necessary to make an appointment in advance for health check-up at Shenzhen Isolation Hotel (health post) in order to survive the incubation period of COVID-19 epidemic in 14 days. Residents whose destination is Shenzhen or negative can enjoy 7 days of home health observation. If they want to go elsewhere, they need to stay in the hotel for another 7 days for health observation.
