Jieyang Folk Tale The Legend of Birds Pecking Tea
According to legend, in ancient times, there was a farmer named Lin in Chiqiuxi Village at the foot of Xiaobei Mountain in Jieyi Lantian. One day, with a knife and a sharp shoulder, he cut wood on Geping Mountain, which is far away from the village. At noon, he squatted under a towering stone to make a fire and cook. Just as he was about to eat, suddenly, a strange bird flew from the air and stopped on the stone, making a cry of "measures" from time to time. Lin wondered, "Why have I never seen this kind of bird?" After a while, the bird crowed three times, its tail turned up, as if it had put down a pile of things, and then flew away. Lin curiously wanted to climb the big stone, but found a pile of bird droppings. He poked it with a branch and saw a tree seed with a big finger. He mixed a handful of soil from the ground, covered it with tree seeds, and then cut wood.
Three years later in the spring. Lin wanted to come here to cut wood again and came across a small sapling growing in a crack in the stone wall. He climbed the vines and vines, came to the stone, picked its leaves and put them in his mouth, which made him feel sweet and thirsty. So, he spent a lot of effort, carefully raised the sapling with the tip of an iron cone, took it home and planted it on the hillside behind the village. Year after year, under his careful care, this branch is flourishing. Lin wants to pick young leaves often and soak them in water. Once I picked too much, and I was afraid that it would lose its flavor if I left it for a long time, so I rubbed it with slow fire and stored it. Brew it with boiling water when you want to drink it, and it tastes better. So he picked the seed of this tree, planted it and named it "Bird Pecks Tea". This is the green tea that has been passed down to this day.
Jieyang Folk Tales: Legends of "Flying Knife Land" and "Shamao Stone"
On the Zifeng Mountain in the southwest of Jieyang City, there are "flying knives" and "shamao stone".
According to legend, hundreds of years ago, the stockade cave on the top of the flying knife was once a thatched cottage of crusade history. Zhang Weigang, the stockade owner, is a native of Huaxi Township, Zhangpu County, Fujian Province. When I was young, I gathered people in southern Fujian to resist Yuan. He has learned a unique skill, and can shoot flying knives at a stone's throw. Moreover, he was eloquent. Pu Shougeng, a traitor who denounced the downfall of the Yuan Dynasty in Quanzhou, was deeply appreciated by Zhang Shijie, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, and accepted him as his adopted son.
In the Southern Song Dynasty, when the monarch and his subjects retreated from Quanzhou to Raoping, Zhang Shijie summoned the Song Emperor and Zhang Weigang, a local scholar. When Wei Gang was in Hongluoshan, Raoping, he was given a gauze cap by the emperor. Zhang took the gauze hat and vowed, "I will never return to Tatar, and I will never be a man. I will wear this crown again when I am in Pinghu."
After several battles, Wei Gang led dozens of people with lofty ideals to the top of Zifeng Mountain in the south of Jieyang, and decided to set up a stronghold behind enemy lines here. He insisted on the anti-Yuan struggle and put the gauze hat given by the Song Emperor on the "Loyalty Hall" in the stronghold.
At that time, Jieyang County had fallen into enemy hands, and Yuan would send Kilhan and 300 officers and men to suppress Zifeng Mountain. Halfway up the mountain, suddenly a gunshot hit the rolling wood and big stones on the top of the mountain. All the people were waving swords and guns, and Yuan Bing's body was everywhere, and the hillside was full of blood. Litchi Khan can't escape the righteous sutra. In this World War I, Yuan soldiers were almost wiped out.
Wei just fought Yuan in Anzhai, Zifeng Mountain. How many years have passed in the blink of an eye, and his hair is white. People no longer call him Zhazhaizhu, but Zongweng.
In the summer of this year, Hua Chi, a great scholar in Jieyang County, sent Mu Qiao and Xiao Yan to the Shimenkeng under the headland to call for surrender. When Ceng Min, the righteous brother of Zong Weng, heard about it, he came out and cursed Yuan Bing, but Yan Min stabbed him and his blood flowed out of his stomach. Ceng Min wrapped himself in his intestines, that is, he assassinated his enemy with a gun. When Xiao Yan saw it, he was scared and shot. Ceng Min and Xiao Yan died together at once.
Mu Qiao heard about it in the first shop in England and sent his troops to kill it. At this time, Zong Weng happened to come back from the ancient temple in Xia Qiao. He saw Qiao sitting on a red jujube war horse, commanding the Yuan soldiers to hunt down the volunteers. Zong Weng released the stunt he practiced as a child-flying knife, and suddenly saw a white light shooting from the top of the mountain in front of Yingyipu, pointing directly at Muqiao's throat. The knife flew just right, and the wooden bridge fell off the horse and died. The hillside where Zong Weng flew with this knife has been called "the land of flying knives" by the world since the Yuan Dynasty until today.
Zong Weng persisted in the struggle in Zifeng Shanzhai until the second year of the Yuan Dynasty (13 15). At that time, political affairs in Pingzhang, Jiangxi Province did not lead troops to the south, and they wanted to destroy Zhang Weigang, the stronghold of Zifeng, with the great scholar Huachi in Jieyang. Shi weigang is old, old. When he learned that Duolihuahua was going to Jieyang, he led 12 martial arts experts to sneak into Yuanying Station overnight and assassinate Duolihuahua and his wife and concubine. Unfortunately, he was seriously injured when he assassinated a rival in the enemy camp. He escaped from the enemy camp and came to the Wolf Mountain in Lantian (now Xinheng), where he bled to the ground and died.
Later, Zhaizi Cave, the stronghold of anti-Yuan, was also suppressed by Yuan soldiers. The gauze cap given by Emperor Song was moved to Maolin, the top of the flying knife, by the righteous man Zhang Manxian. According to legend, on the night when this gauze cap was moved and hidden, hundreds of birds sang in unison on the Purple Peak, and the mountain beasts howled, and the gauze cap turned into a boulder. Up to now, this shamao stone still stands tall on the flying knife ground of Zifeng Mountain.

On the opposite mountain not far from the mouth of the cave, there are two inexpensive knives and ox nose stones, one big and one small, facing each other. Where did these strange stones come from? Legend has it that a long time ago, there lived two goblins, the fox and the weasel, in the cave of Guanyin Mountain. They often went down the mountain to do evil.
