I suggest you go to expressway, which is more convenient and quick! The rain and snow weather has ended on February 5! Beijing-Zhuhai-expressway opened today.
If you want to take the national highway, you can go south along the national highway 107 and pass through Xianning, Yueyang and Changsha to Xiangtan. When you get out of Wuhan, get off at Wutaimen Wuxian Expressway, drive along it, that is, National Highway 107, and then follow the signs. When passing through Xianning, Puyin, Yueyang, Miluo and other places along the way, it basically bypasses the national road 107 and does not enter the city. After arriving in Changsha, take the ring road, bypass the urban area, and then go south along 107 to Xiangtan. It takes about one hour to walk in expressway, and about six hours to walk on the national highway.
