Are there any points in the 2022 Huangshi National Table Tennis Championships?
The all-around champion is a domestic competition, and only international competitions can be counted as points, such as the major leagues, the World Cup and the World Championships.
The National Table Tennis Championship, sponsored by the Table Tennis and Badminton Center of the State General Administration of Sport, is the oldest, largest, most competitive and influential official traditional table tennis event in China, which is held once a year. The national table tennis championship is known as the "small world championship".
At present, the championship consists of seven events: men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's volleyball team, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
Participation mode
(1) Athletes who have won the top three in team and individual events in the World Championships and the World Cup may participate in this competition without quota.
(2) Each team qualified to participate in the finals of the national championship can report to the team leader 1 person, the coach of men's and women's teams 1 person, and five men and women athletes.
(3) There must be at least 1 backhand players in each group who sign up for the competition (male players can replace backhand fast break).
(4) Athletes who register for team competitions may participate in singles and doubles competitions.
(5) Within the number of applicants specified in the competition regulations, the athletes of the national team will pair themselves to participate in the doubles competition, and other athletes will be paired by each participating unit or with athletes from other units to participate in the doubles competition.
(6) Any unit involved in cross-unit pairing must fill in the name and unit of the cross-unit pairing athlete in the registration form, otherwise the cross-unit pairing will not be confirmed.
(seven) due to the need of preparation, the national team athletes confirmed by the national team coaching staff can participate in individual competitions.
Grades and awards
(a) The top eight candidates in each project will receive certificates.
The top three athletes in each event will receive gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
(3) The top 8 players in men's and women's singles will be directly selected for the national team.
