1995 is what year of the pig?
Why is this the Year of the Golden Pig?
"The Year of the Golden Pig" is actually just a saying, which has been handed down from ancient times. In fact, the five elements in 2007 are not gold, but fire, that is, the year of the fire pig.
Allusions to the Year of the Golden Pig:
In the fourth year of Wude in Tang Gaozu (AD 62 1 year), in order to rectify the chaotic currency system and waste Sui money, the currency system was reformed with reference to the five-baht standard of the Western Han Dynasty. The casting and circulation of Kaiyuan Bao Tong in the Tang Dynasty promoted the Tang Dynasty with its capital Chang 'an to enter a period of long-term stability and prosperity. Because of "baht", the prosperous year of Zhenguan year is called "Golden baht year" because of its wealth. Zhenguan's rule coincided with the Year of the Pig in Dinghai, and the Year of the Golden Pig was circulated by the people and equated with the Year of the Golden Pig, so the Year of the Fire Pig in Dinghai, which was bound to have auspicious events, was renamed the Year of the Golden Pig in Dinghai.
According to China's Five Elements Theory, Jin Mu is divided into five elements: fire, water and earth, which have different properties every year. The "gold" in the five elements is once in 60 years. Therefore, together with the "pig" in the zodiac, it constitutes the Year of the Golden Pig.

Everyone said:
The Year of the Golden Pig in 2007 is a once-in-60-year year, so it is a rare auspicious year! Actually, it doesn't make sense to think about it carefully. Every year of these 60 years is different. Why is the Year of the Golden Pig so special? This is just a superstitious statement.
Why is 2007 the Year of the Golden Pig?

There is a popular saying recently: 2007 is the "golden pig year" in the 60-year lunar calendar, which is a rare auspicious year!
But as far as I know, 2007 is the year of Ding Hai, that is, the heavenly stem is Ding and the earthly branch is Hai. According to the correspondence between heavenly stems and earthly branches and the five elements, it is inferred that "Ding" belongs to yin fire and "Hai" belongs to yin water.
