Order of the People's Government of Yongchuan District of Chongqing Municipality on Forest Fire Prevention and Closing Hillsides

At present, our city is experiencing the continuous sunny, hot and high temperature weather which is rare since the meteorological record, and our district is in a very high risk period of forest fire. In order to build a strong forest firewall in extreme weather, put an end to forest fires, and fully protect the safety of forest resources and people's lives and property, according to the Forest Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Regulations on Forest Fire Prevention, the Regulations on Forest Fire Prevention of Chongqing and other laws and regulations, combined with the actual work of forest fire prevention in our region, the following mountain closure order is hereby issued.

First, the closing time:

August 2022 18 to August 3, 20221.

Second, the closed area:

Five mountain ranges in Yongchuan District (Lushan, Yingshan, Bayue Mountain, Huanggua Mountain and Wuyun Mountain) are concentrated in contiguous forest areas.

Third, the closing rules:

(1) Except for the aborigines who are in normal production and life, other personnel are not allowed to enter the closed area without approval.

(two) in the closed area, it is strictly prohibited to use fire in the field and all fire-prone operations.

(3) Personnel who enter the closed restricted area after approval shall consciously accept the fire prevention and fire prohibition inspection, take the initiative to scan the National Fire Prevention Code before entering and leaving the forest area and hand in all fire sources, promise to abide by relevant regulations, and consciously fulfill the obligation of forest fire prevention publicity.

(4) The towns (streets) and villages (communities) in the closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation should strengthen the propaganda of forest fire prevention, strengthen the investigation of hidden dangers, strictly control the fire sources, and organize, mobilize and rely on the masses to win the protracted and tough battle of forest fire prevention.

(5) No unit or individual may refuse, obstruct or hinder the inspection. Those who do not listen to dissuasion and violate this mountain closure order will be investigated and dealt with in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and those who cause losses will be liable for compensation according to law; If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
