In 2022, the enrollment area of Daozhen Primary School was divided into communities in the old city (Fan Yan, Fuxing, Li Jiawan, Maoxiangpo, Qishuwan, Shatai, Shangtanxi Community, Wangjiashan, Xinshan and Central Residents Group). Yongcheng Community (Northbound Tianjie Huafu, Binyang International Phase II, Xincheng, Postal Residents Group, Xinhua Community Health Service Center Yongcheng Residents Group).

Daozhen Autonomous County Ethnic Primary School was founded in 2008 and put into use in the autumn of 20 10. This is a newly-built school with a campus area of 25,600 square meters.
