2021 Spring Festival Stock Market Trading Arrangements

The Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges issued a notice on the market closing arrangements for the Spring Festival in 2021:

Spring Festival: The market will be closed from February 11 (Thursday) to February 17 (Wednesday), February 18 The market will open as usual from Thursday. In addition, the market will be closed on the weekends on February 7 (Sunday) and February 20 (Saturday).

Hong Kong stock market: The market will be closed in the afternoon of February 11 (New Year’s Eve, Thursday), and will be closed from February 12 (New Year’s Day, Friday) to February 15 (New Year’s Day, Monday). The market will be closed on February 16th (Tuesday, the fifth day of the Lunar New Year).

Hong Kong Stock Connect: No services will be available from February 9 (Tuesday) to February 17 (Wednesday, the sixth day of the Lunar New Year). Starting from February 18 (Thursday, the seventh day of the Lunar New Year) Service as usual**.
