Are the stars according to the lunar calendar or the new calendar?

Ancient Babylonian astronomy divided the ecliptic into twelve constellations, which was based on the anniversary of the sun. However, there are twelve months in the tropic of Capricorn, and the sun runs in a constellation in January, but the twenty-eight stars will be divided into twenty-eight on Sunday. What is the basis of this division? There has been a saying since ancient times that the twenty-eight stars are the signs of the moon's apparent motion. However, it takes 27.32 days for the moon to move in front of the stars. People can take its integer and divide Sunday into 28 nights.

In addition to the moon, there is an old saying that "four-seven matches J", which divides Sunday into four star zones, each of which contains seven nights, so it has 28 nights, and it is named four elephants after animals:

Oriental Black Dragon (including Jiao, Kang, Shi, Fang, Xin, Wei and Ji);

North Xuanwu (including bucket, ox, female, deficiency, danger, room and wall for seven nights);

Western White Tigers (including Kui, Lou, Wei, Ang, Bi, Gou and Shen)

Southern Suzaku (including Well, Ghost, Willow, Star, Zhang, Yuanbao and Seven Nights).

From the book Lingxian written by Zhang Heng, we can see: "The stars are arranged in rows, starting with God, with five rows, a total of 35 stars. Living in the center, called Beidou, is quite local, and it is the life of the king. Four pieces of cloth in the square lasted for 28 nights. It can be seen that this statement is deeply influenced by the theory of five elements, and whether it can be used as the basis for dividing the 28 stars is debatable.
