Will the total solar eclipse be visible in Weinan, Shaanxi on 22nd, 2009?
Chengcheng, Weinan, Shaanxi Province, can see 88% of the partial solar eclipse if it is not in the total eclipse zone
The specific observation time is as follows
Initial loss time

The moment of eclipse

Observation The sun is very dangerous because it emits strong visible, infrared and ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet light can not only sunburn the skin, it can also quickly cause damage to the retina of the eyes. Just looking directly at the sun for a few seconds can cause permanent damage or even blindness. If you observe the sun through a telescope without proper light reduction equipment, the consequences will be even more disastrous. Partial solar eclipses and annular solar eclipses cannot be viewed without taking special safety precautions. During the partial eclipse phase of a total solar eclipse, even when the sun's surface is 99% obscured by the moon, the remaining photosphere formed by the new moon can cause damage to the eyes. Do not attempt to observe the Sun with the naked eye during any partial or annular eclipse phase.
Here are some scientific observation methods:
Ink observation method (but this method has a low light reduction rate and can easily cause eye injury, so it is not recommended)
You can take a basin of water, add ink, and look at the sun through the reflection on the water surface.
Pinhole projection method
Use two boards, dig a small hole in one of the boards, and let the sunlight pass through the small hole and project onto the other board.
Telescope projection method
Don’t move your hands around, otherwise the sun’s shadow will run back and forth. And never look directly at the sun with a telescope. If you use a telescope to look at the sun directly, be sure to use a filter.
Note:
Never use the so-called "Sun Card", "Solar Eclipse Card", etc. provided by informal institutions.
