2023 Wuxi Lingshan Giant Buddha One-Day Tour Guide
The beautiful scenery of the Lingshan Giant Buddha in Wuxi
The Lingshan Giant Buddha has very good Feng Shui. It faces Taihu Lake and leans on Lingshan Mountain in the north. It holds the green dragon (mountain) on the left and the white tiger (mountain) on the right. Excellent, it is a rare Buddhist land. There is the Wuxi Lingshan Giant Buddha in the east, the Tiantan Giant Buddha in Hong Kong in the south, the Sichuan Leshan Giant Buddha in the west, the Shanxi Yungang Giant Buddha in the north, and the Henan Longmen Giant Buddha in the middle. At this point, the pattern of five Buddhas in the five directions of China has been completed.
There is a direct bus from the train station, which takes about 2 hours. Lingshan is quite big, so you have to get there early otherwise there will be a lot of tourists, and you have to queue up to get in at many places. There is a sightseeing bus in the scenic area, with unlimited boarding and alighting for 30 yuan. It is quite convenient to take it to any scenic spot. In fact, you can go around the entire scenic area and visit all the basic attractions. If you want to see more carefully, you can spend a day there.
The first thing I saw was the golden Buddha. It was about half an hour's walk to the Buddha, and there were some stories about Buddhism in the middle. Viewing the Buddha statue at the foot of the Big Buddha is even more spectacular. Climbing the Buddha statue, you can have a panoramic view of the green water and green mountains beside Taihu Lake. Lingshan Scenic Area integrates lakes and mountains, garden squares, Buddhist culture, and historical knowledge. It is the most complete and only Buddhist cultural theme park in China that displays the achievements of Sakyamuni. Lingshan Giant Buddha, Brahma Palace, and Five Seal Mandala all have their own characteristics. They are highly recommended. Although it is a man-made attraction, the environment and performances inside are still great! Travel Guide
