The rules of the 4 * 400m relay race are as follows:

1, track setting:

The 4 * 400m relay race is usually held in the standard track and field. The runway should have four relay zones, which are located in the second, third, fourth and fifth lanes of the runway. The length of each relay zone should be 20m and the width should be 2.4-2.5m. ..

2. Team arrangement:

Each team consists of four players. Before the start of the competition, all the players should be ready to start in their respective relay areas.

3. Starter and relay:

After the start of the race, the first team member starts from the starting line, completes a lap (400 meters) and passes the baton to the second team member. After receiving the baton in the relay area, the second team member continued to run once, and then passed the baton to the third team member. After receiving the baton in the relay area, the third member also completed a lap, and finally passed the baton to the fourth member. After receiving the baton in the relay area, the fourth player finished the last lap and finished the race.

4. Transfer of the baton:

In the relay process, the baton must be passed through the collision between relay players. When passing the ball, the baton should be completed in the relay area. If the baton falls outside the relay area, the team members must return to the relay area to pick up the baton and then complete the transfer in the relay area. In addition, during the relay, the baton cannot touch the ground, otherwise it will be punished.

5. Fouls and penalties:

In the 4*400-meter relay race, if the following situations occur, you will be punished accordingly: the baton falls in the relay area; you must go back to the relay area to pick up the baton and then complete the transfer in the relay area. 4 * 400m relay equipment:

3.
