Typhoon landing schedule in August 2023
In the early morning of July 28th, 2023, typhoon khanun No.6 was born in the northwest Pacific Ocean, officially numbered. At 2 o'clock that day, Kanu was located in the eastern Philippines, about 18 10 km east of Manila, Philippines. The maximum wind force near the center18m/s, level 8, is a tropical storm. In the early morning of July 30th, typhoon khanun intensified into a severe tropical storm. At 0500 hours, the maximum wind force near the east center of the Philippines, about 1.370 km east of Manila, Philippines, was 10, and the lowest pressure at the center was 982 hectopascals.
On July 30, 2023, according to the forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, Typhoon Kanu No.6 in 2023 entered the East China Sea from the night of July 3 1 to the morning of August 1, and is expected to land on the coast of Zhejiang on August 2. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs attaches great importance to the emergency deployment of typhoon prevention work, and requires the agricultural and rural departments in relevant areas to base themselves on disaster prevention and harvest.
Causes of typhoon formation
Typhoon is a strong tropical cyclone generated on the surface of tropical ocean. It is often accompanied by strong winds and heavy rains. This is a powerful and far-reaching tropical weather system. According to the maximum surface wind speed near the center, tropical cyclones released by China Meteorological Bureau are divided into six grades, namely super typhoon, strong typhoon, strong tropical storm, tropical storm and tropical depression.
The natural conditions for typhoon formation should be a sufficiently wide tropical ocean surface, the surface temperature of seawater should be higher than 26.5 degrees Celsius, the depth of seawater layer on the ocean surface should be at least 60 meters, there should be a tropical vortex, there should be enough earth rotation deviation, and the difference between wind direction and wind speed in high and low space before typhoon formation should be very small.
