Introduction to Nangong National Forest Park in Shaanxi Province Nangong National Forest Park is located in the east of Langao County, Shaanxi Province, with a total area of 7,648 hectares. It consists of five scenic spots: Erlangping, East Stone Forest, Jinding, West Stone Forest and Lianhua Village. It is famous for its many eruptions of Paleozoic volcanoes, glacial remains in the fourth season, primitive secondary forests and Shang Hongyi. It has become a tourist and leisure resort in the adjacent areas of Shaanxi, Sichuan, Hubei and Chongqing. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, national forest park and national geological park, enjoying the reputation of "pure land in the clouds and paradise on earth". Nangong Mountain is an excellent place to worship Buddha in Shaanxi and the most ideal holiday and leisure resort in the west. Master Hongyi, a monk, died in Jinding for a hundred years, and the world marveled that he did not rot. During the Jingkang period of the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 126), the imperial court built a palace here and named it "Nangong", hence the name "Nangong Mountain". The Qing dynasty gradually evolved into a Buddhist resort.
Due to the special geographical environment and historical and climatic conditions, the species number of endemic plants, single genera and few genera, rare and endangered plants and woody plants in Nangong Mountain ranks first in Shaanxi, and is known as "Xishuangbanna" in Shaanxi. There are more than 300 kinds of wild animals in the park, and 28 kinds of precious wild animals are leopard, Sumen antelope, civet, golden eagle, golden pheasant and giant salamander.
Nangong National Forest Park is famous for its real monks, trails of Paleozoic volcanic eruption and primitive secondary forests, and has now developed into a tourist attraction for sightseeing, leisure and summer vacation in the adjacent areas of Shaanxi, Sichuan, Hubei and Chongqing. Nangong Mountain is known as the most magical national forest park in China and the most magical Buddhist shrine in China.
