I want to travel to Tibet in August, and ask about the matters needing attention in climate and customs.
Precautions:
Tibet is a plateau area, so patients with heart disease, hypertension, asthma and severe cold are not allowed to enter, and please take medicines for preventing and treating colds, carsickness and altitude sickness (take rhodiola or related health-care medicines for preventing and resisting altitude sickness before going).
Tibet has high altitude, strong sunshine and dry air. Please take sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, lip balm and other items.
When entering Tibet, you should pay attention to adequate rest, avoid strenuous exercise when you first arrive at the plateau, ban smoking and alcohol, and eat moderately. Rest more, drink more water and eat more fruits, which is beneficial to adapt to the plateau environment as soon as possible. Most guests who have just arrived in Lhasa will have altitude sickness (headache, chest tightness, etc.) to some extent. As long as they pay attention to rest and eat properly (don't overeat and increase the burden on the stomach), generally speaking, after 1-2 days, the reaction symptoms will be gradually alleviated or disappeared; You can take some drugs appropriately, such as: Gao Yuan 'an, Hongjingtian, Nuodikang, etc., and in severe cases, you can take oxygen properly or hang salt water. After adaptation, altitude sickness will not happen again during Tibet.
elevation of main areas: Lhasa, 365m, Linzhi, 34m, Namco, 477m and Shigatse, 386m.
bring your camera battery and memory card to freeze the beautiful scenery in your eyes, which will become an unforgettable memory in your life.
you can ask me if you want to know more.
