Going to Australia for a study visit in July. I want to know what the weather is like there.

June to August is the winter in Australia. In comparison, Melbourne is colder. The Gold Coast and Brisbane are very close to each other, and the temperature is slightly higher.

I feel that the winter here is not as cold as in the north of the country.

If you have a car when you go out, you don’t need to wear a lot of clothes. It's colder in the mornings and evenings, and it's rainy in winter.
