Schedule of 2022 World Women's Volleyball Championship

On February 26th, 2022, FIVB official website announced that the venue of the lottery ceremony for the 2022 Women's Volleyball World Championships would be moved from Warsaw to Lausanne, Switzerland, and it would be postponed for at least one week. The new lottery date will be released in due course.
In March this year, FIVB set a new time for the draw ceremony of the 2022 World Volleyball Championship. At 2: 30am on March 18, Beijing time, the draw ceremony for the 2022 World Volleyball Championship will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland. On March 18, the draw ceremony for the 2022 World Women's Volleyball Championship was held in Lausanne, headquarters of FIVB.
China women's volleyball team is divided into Group D, along with Brazil, Japanese, Colombian, Argentine and Czech. Group D will be held in Anan, the Netherlands.
The complete grouping result is (the host city of the group match is in brackets):
Group A: Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Puerto Rico, Cameroon and Kenya.
Group B (Anan/Gdansk)-Poland, Turkey, Dominica, South Korea, Thailand and Croatia.
Group C (Anam/Rhodes)- USA, Serbia, Germany, Bulgaria, Canada and Kazakhstan.
Group D: Brazil, China, Japanese, Colombian, Argentine and Czech.
On April 12, 2022, FIVB updated the schedule of the 2022 Women's Volleyball World Championships, and all the detailed schedules of the group matches were confirmed. The World Championships will be held from September 23rd, 2022 to1October 10, with 24 teams participating.
The first stage of the group stage will be held from September 23rd to June 2nd. 10. Twenty-four teams are divided into four groups, with six teams in each group playing a single round. The top four teams in each group advance to the second stage of the semi-finals 16.
