? Tai chi meditation to cultivate ambition

Static Kung Fu is the proper meaning in the traditional Tai Ji Chuan training system; It is a necessary quality for practitioners in Tai Ji Chuan.

Static, literally, means still; Being in the Tai Ji Chuan is a higher life experience than being still. For example, Tai Ji Chuan, an internal skill inherited by the author, started from the beginning, and the transformation process of one stroke and one skill (skill is internal skill) was often accompanied by the requirements of "peace of mind", "peace of mind in the center of the cross" and "certainty of mind". These requirements are difficult for beginners to understand.

why is it difficult to understand? Because ordinary people, due to the pressure of work, life and study, formality, nervousness and busyness seem to be an organic part of life activities, which cannot be separated for a moment. In such a state of mind, learning and practicing Tai Ji Chuan, who has the most traditional Chinese cultural quality, will not adapt and get used to it; Because, the mind can't calm down and can't settle down.

Although Tai Ji Chuan is always practicing in a state; However, the mutual pregnancy of Yin and Yang, the ji ji of Yin and Yang, and the same movement are the essence of Tai Ji Chuan. Without these, the connotation and charm of Tai Ji Chuan will be lost.

The value of the traditional Tai Ji Chuan is reflected in the boxing moves, and it is inevitable that every movement is accompanied by stillness and steadiness. The so-called "breaking the shape of the mind" and "shifting the fixed point"-the original intention here is that although the body is in the middle, the mind must be in the stillness. Based on this understanding, foreigners call Tai Ji Chuan "sports meditation".

Tai Ji Chuan (Tai Chi culture) advocated by us, the static method is a special training that must be conducted. This training process is divided into three stages, and each stage should last at least one year.

The first stage-king kong sit

king kong sit was originally a natural dignified posture formed by the ancient people in China during their daily reading and conversation, and it was a life habit specially respected by Confucianism; However, "thirty years in the east of the river and thirty years in the west of the river", this sitting posture is rarely used by contemporary China people, and it is particularly unaccustomed.

king kong sit is very simple. There are two ways to sit.

first, put your legs together, put your calves flat on the cushion, keep your thighs and body upright, and then sit your hips on your calves.

Secondly, the two calves are placed in parallel, and the instep of one foot is pressed against the arch of the other foot, overlapping together, and then sitting on the calf and heel; After sitting down, lean forward, spread your hips and sit down again. When you are straight, send your waist forward, and then hold your chest (just a little meaning, don't move your body, accept your chin and lead your spirit. Although China Taoism says that "the fundamental avenue is not sitting", it also believes that "we should enter the Tao from the form of sitting."

king kong sit looks very simple, but if the "permeability" of legs (through martial arts training, qi and blood can be unimpeded in the body), traditional Tai Ji Chuan, Xingyiquan and Bagua Palm all emphasize the realization of this kung fu. ) Not enough, not long after taking this sitting posture, the legs will be numb and painful because the blood vessels in the calf are crushed by the body. At this time, my heart will be very agitated and restless, and even I will have the idea of not wanting to sit down. How to deal with it? Hold on a little longer (note: be sure).

king kong sit is a way to make blood flow better by sitting quietly-to deflate blood vessels and let blood flow slowly first, which is equivalent to blocking the dam; When you stand up, as soon as the shriveled place opens, it's like a dam burst, and qi and blood will better rush over and reach your toes.

, you can read, watch TV and chat in king kong sit's posture; Besides, among all the special sitting postures, king kong sit is the only one that can sit after meals, because this sitting posture can help digestion.

the second stage-ma bu Zhuang

in the past, it was said that "to wash the bone marrow, we should start from the station Zhuang". Among them, Ma Bu Zhuang is the most respected strategy of traditional martial arts. Why? Because this Zhuang method can start the true qi quickly, promote the circulation of qi and blood, and strengthen the body and bones.

The most basic requirement of "Ma Bu Zhuang" is to stand with two feet parallel and separated, with toes forward, legs upright and thighs basically parallel or slightly higher. There are also two ways to stand.

first, Xiao Ma Bu Zhuang. At the beginning of this village, the toes of the two feet are separated into an outer figure; Subsequently, the heels of the two feet are separated, and the feet are parallel and shoulder-width. The body squats down from a high position, gradually making the thighs parallel. The difficulty of this village is that if the waist is not loosened, it is not easy for the two thighs to squat flat.

secondly, the Damabuzhuang. At the beginning of this village, the toes of the two feet are separated into an outer figure; Then, the heels are separated into inverted characters; Furthermore, the toes are in an outer figure; Subsequently, the two heels and toes are parallel to each other, wider than the shoulders and at most twice as wide. If it's too wide, the calf won't be vertical. On this basis, the body slowly squats down, gradually making the two thighs tend to be parallel (must be slightly higher).

The stance of "Ma Bu Zhuang" is often embracing, with palms inward and facing the body, as if holding a big balloon in both arms. This hand style is called "including machine hand" by martial arts veterans.

The special significance of "Ma Bu Zhuang" to those who practice Tai Ji Chuan is to temper their static kung fu. Because, when you first stand in Zhuang, because the "permeability" of your legs is not good, your legs will be jittery and painful due to muscle tension; Some people, the waist and hip will still be painful and unstressed, and the thighs will fall by themselves (below the horizontal line); In addition, there will be increased heartbeat, sweating and extreme fatigue. These phenomena are normal phenomena of replacing "poor strength" with "smart strength", but these phenomena are often annoying; However, this is precisely the best opportunity to practice whether you can calm down and deny it. Do not miss it.

the third stage-palm-free

palm-free is the hardest kung fu, and it is also the most helpful training method for the tempering of static kung fu. Since this method can only be practiced with guidance, it is omitted here.

Quietly training: the only way for Tai Ji Chuan to enter the

high realm

There is a saying in the Confucian "University": "Zhi Zhi will decide later, and then he will be quiet, and then he will be quiet, and then he will be safe, and then he will think about it, and then he will get it." The tranquility here is an integral part of the "seven-proof" kung fu of Confucianism in learning and doing things. The same is true of Tai Ji Chuan's meditation kung fu, not only to integrate the knowledge of Tai Ji Chuan, but more importantly, to put meditation kung fu into daily life.

in the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu said, "To be empty, to be quiet, and to do everything at the same time, I will see its recovery. Everything goes back to its roots. In the final analysis, it is quiet, quiet and life-giving, life-giving and knowledge-giving. " The "keeping quiet and faithful" here is what we call "fixing". Only by holding, can we hold, hold, let go and hold that static state. "In the final analysis, it is called quietness", that is to say, the fundamental avenue must be returned to quietness, and the nature of lucidity will be presented. This is the most fundamental realm. The ultimate goal of practicing Tai Ji Chuan is also to temper people's spiritual nature. Otherwise, it is not enough to be called "the way of Tai Ji Chuan".

Why does Tai Ji Chuan exercise meditation? The reason is that-stillness is the foundation of Tai Ji Chuan. Without stillness, when Tai Ji Chuan rehearses, it will be "floating" and "noisy", and it will fall into the pattern of "empty description"-there is no realm inside. When Tai Ji Chuan is practiced, it will naturally be "loose, steady, slow and even", and it will be quiet and natural, clear and smart, and there will be kung fu inside (called "something inside" by predecessors).

Tai Ji Chuan advocates "neutrality". The "mystery of timing" is contained in "stillness". Static determination is introverted, inward-looking, and inward-looking. Therefore, although practicing boxing moves, the surface seems to be the consumption of life energy, and the direction of life movement is outward; However, the static principle is to help Tai Ji Chuan practitioners realize the accumulation, storage and breeding of life energy.

Any movement of Tai Ji Chuan's body manipulation is bound to go through the beginning, operation, termination and transformation repeatedly. Here, the beginning does not mean the beginning of the body shape, pace and technique, but the germination of the mind and spirit. The premise of germination is stillness. This meditation is "accepting the heart, tying the horse." How to collect and pin must be determined at the moment of termination and transformation of any moves. The movement of the body is born because of the quietness of the mind, so Zhang Sanfeng has a saying: "Tai Ji Chuan is as static as moving, and its movement is as static, and the dynamic and static cycles are constantly connected, so the two qi intersect and the image of Tai Chi becomes".

Why do you want to take king kong sit, Ma Bu Zhuang and Wu Xiang Zhang in meditation? There are three reasons:

First, these three methods are static in appearance; However, in the process of training, the internal qi and blood and breath will naturally "surge". At this time, peace of mind and calm mind can make it run in an orderly manner. Static here refers to sitting still, and the rule means that once there is physical pain, inner irritability and restlessness, you should settle your mind and stick to it.

Secondly, meditation is difficult for ordinary people to experience. However, due to the "forced movement" of qi and blood in the tense state of the body, it will cause uncomfortable feelings such as numbness, swelling, pain and itching. The feeling at this time is actually the restlessness of the heart; If you can settle your mind and calm yourself down, you will find that the uncomfortable feeling is tolerable, and this tolerable psychological change is the embodiment of the deepening of stillness.

thirdly, you must have perseverance to succeed in doing anything, and staying calm is an important way to temper perseverance. When each stage can persist for more than 2 hours and still stand still, and the heart is not difficult to feel, even very comfortable, this realm is the embodiment of the foundation of static kung fu.
