Examination time and examination location arrangement
The examination time in Wuxi urban area is May 11th (Tuesday) to May 15th (Saturday).

Test Items and Scoring

Exam rules
1. Speed endurance events
(1) 50-meter run

2. Strength events
(1) Solid ball throwing
It is conducted on a flat field 20 meters long and 4 meters wide. The candidate holds the ball (2 kilograms) and stands behind the throwing line, with his feet front and back or left and right, his body facing the direction of the throw, his hands holding the ball above or behind his head, and throwing forward in place. When the ball is thrown, your feet may not step on the throwing line. Each candidate can take the test three times, and the best result will be recorded.
When fouls such as line stepping occur, the score will be invalid. If the results of three examinations are invalid, the score will be recorded as 7 points.
(2) Pull-ups
The examinee holds the bar with both hands and hangs with straight arms. After stopping, pull up with both arms at the same time until the lower jaw exceeds the upper edge of the horizontal bar. Done once. Do not bend your elbows before the next pull-up. Each candidate can take the test twice, and the best result will be recorded.
If the lower jaw does not reach the upper edge of the horizontal bar, the number of times will not be counted.
(3) 1-minute sit-ups
The examinee lies on his back on the mat, with his legs slightly apart, his feet on the mat, his knees bent, his ankles fixed, and his fingers interlaced on his head. 3. Dexterity Category
Candidates for dexterity category can apply for two exams, one is the main exam and the other is the secondary exam. The best will be recorded in one exam. It is performed on a flat field 20 meters long and 7 meters wide. The distance from the starting (end) point line to the first sign pole is 5 meters. (5) Football dribbling and shooting
It is conducted on a field 25 meters long and 10 meters wide. The distance from the starting line to the first sign pole is 3 meters, and the distance between each sign pole is 3 meters. Exemption or postponement
(1) Exemption: Candidates who are not suitable to take the physical examination due to illness or injury should apply for exemption. Candidates can fill out the "2021 Wuxi Junior High School Academic Level Examination Physical Examination Exemption Application Form" with relevant certificates issued by the physical examination hospital. Parents will sign their opinions, and the school will stamp the preliminary review. After approval by the Municipal High School Entrance Examination Physical Examination Leading Group, they can be exempted from the exam. Candidates can fill in the application form to be exempted from the exam when registering online. The exemption procedures will be handled at the test center on the day of the exam. The test score is calculated as 70% of 30 points (i.e. 21 points) into the total score of the high school entrance examination. Individual exam exemptions are also calculated based on 70% of the individual score.
