What happened to the death of 30 tourists in Thailand?

Remember to pay attention to safety when traveling, and don't let what should be happy turn into tragedy.

Since the beginning of 20 17, the number of tourists from China to Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui in southern Thailand has increased rapidly, and tourists have been injured and drowned frequently. From/kloc-0 to May, 30 tourists were killed in China. From June 12 to June 13, nine tourists in China were forced to go swimming in the sea, ignoring the red flag warning and safety reminder, causing 18-year-old 1 tourists to drown, and four tourists were taken to the hospital for rescue. At present, southern Thailand has entered the rainy season, and the Consulate General of China in Songkhla reminds China tourists in southern Thailand to pay attention to wading safety:

1. Never take part in snorkeling without systematic professional training. The mortality rate of snorkeling events is dozens of times that of swimming events. Since the beginning of the year, tourists from China have been snorkeling and drowning in Phuket and Krabi every month. In recent years, every summer, students admitted to famous schools drown, which is extremely sad and has a profound lesson.

2. The sea conditions in Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui are complex and changeable. Swimming in these waters is a dangerous sport, and all wading events must always wear life jackets. When the red warning flag is planted on the beach, swimming in the sea is strictly prohibited.

Third, when traveling in a foreign country, safety is the most important. According to the announcement of the meteorological department of Thailand, the Andaman sea areas such as Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi and Ribe Island have officially entered the rainy season since May 16. The weather is changeable, the sea breeze is strong and the waves are rough. The whole rainy season is not suitable for swimming in the sea. Please cherish life, respect nature and ensure safe travel.

Fourth, abide by local laws and regulations. Local laws in Thailand prohibit tourists from littering, catching and feeding marine life, picking up or trampling on corals at the seaside; When participating in deep diving, snorkeling and other water projects, the marine ecological environment shall not be destroyed.

Fifth, pay attention to guard against poisonous jellyfish. On the beaches of Phuket and Koh Samui, there are highly toxic capuchin jellyfish and box jellyfish, which may be life-threatening if they are not careful. Please pay attention to the signs along the coast and carefully observe whether there are jellyfish. Once stung by poisonous jellyfish, it should be washed with seawater immediately and treated in the nearest hospital as soon as possible.

Sixth, enhance traffic safety awareness. Southern Thailand is mountainous, with many narrow and curved roads, complicated road conditions and frequent traffic accidents. Pay attention to safety when driving, don't drink, get drunk or drive too fast, and try to avoid driving at night or in bad weather. Don't hire drivers without Thai driver's license or international driver's license.

When traveling, you must know the local situation in advance and pay attention to safety when playing. Don't do anything dangerous. Happy holidays to all travelers!
